To Paint a Tainted human

Daggers entwined with gold,
Embedded with my sorrow
Laying beneath the dark
Hope i don’t sway too far
I heard a melody, something is telling me
Letting the dagger hold onto my palm and yet
Drinking my blood so the taste I won’t forget
Maybe i’m human in some other universe
A thing wearing human wearing skin, cuts and lines made a verse
Masking the wretchedness, clouding my wretched thoughts
My home: a green abyss, then was the day I was born.

Cut me and rip out my heart, please
Study it so you can tell me
That my heart is of crimson not envy
I’ll say “I’m healthy” but help me; help me
Find out how I can be human
Prick me by telling the truth and
Maybe then I could be useful
Truthful?
No, maybe if I wasn’t scared to
I’d be surrounded by petals
Delicately decorating my grave
Peaceful up until you mock me
Those flowers? They’re all that I can see
Dyed in a way so it’s all green
So instead of dying, I was painted
Again and again, verdant and tainted.

Stormbringer

I’ll scream for the storm and pray for the flood,
Thunder scared me always but lightning paired with rain will never strike the same
Only the fields are my barrier as i run through my grief
I no longer seek the numbness and pain
I hate dancing but i’ll twirl in the rain, I feel i can fly
Laying with spirits, it’s me, myself and I,
Can’t feel the tears trickling my cheeks
But the pain disguised as happiness is what it’s destined to be

Bring forth the storm, my palms clap with the thunder
A synchronised taboo neither matter, orever mattered
So i’ll hold hands with the sorry breeze like a blunder
I’ll have the lightning in my hair like a ribbon bright enough to blind the sighted and sharp enough to have glass shattered
I’ll bow for an encore from the petals and plants surrounding by
The meadow be my stage: the stage ready to perform
I’ll whisper my sorry name and why?
My very concealment brings forth a storm

Golden Sorrow

Golden sorrow, wishful ocean breeze
Prick me in the heart, Pluck the cure for your disease
Painted violet for everyone to see
Crimson was the hue, not the colour made to bleed
Carve my mind, plant seeds inside my brain
The wiring of a circuit, I’ll never be explained
“Psychopathic” who is there to blame
For my soul not being the same
Maybe i should tear it all apart
See how long ill go without a heart
I’m not morbid, I never would cause harm
Be grateful you know who you are

Burn me twice, rip the skin off of my face
Document and watch me decay
I’m not human so I don’t have a say
Celebrate if I die today
Slash my skin, or gouge one of my eyes
Fearful of the ink inside
Clutch my throat so I put up a fight
The vivid screams I still hear from that night

Shadowed terrors, the night was what I feared
Soaking through my duvet were tears
Painful breaths whilst covering my ears
When my eyes weren’t closed I thought my end was near

Lightning, thunder, oh how I had changed
My mind has been different since that day
Compensation, I suppose they had to pay
And I suppose that included my therapy
I may be used to standing on a stage
But every actor plays a different face

Red Velvet

Red velvet, slithering down my throat
It has nowhere to go
I’ll throw away the remaining crumbs of you
To them I’ll say adieu, cut the fruit that sprout from mine
Count the seconds, count the time
Clutch my throat, its paradise
My appetite inside a plate
Was that ever a human trait?
Crack my palms across the slate
Betrayed myself by staring at a veil.

Velvet fabric, oh so soft to touch, but
Parched, I'm deprived, my tears no longer enough
Distaste and disgust, sitting alone whilst i consume
My head fallen, what’s staring back at me? Food.
Crack the apple, snap the piece of bread
Shun me out to go feed them instead
Maybe then it won’t be wasted; wasted on an alien
R for the realisation that its spread across the floor
Every morsel of insolence, it hits me to the core
Don’t say you’re sorry. Clutch my throat, gag the crumbs downwards,

Sinking in my stomach, my appetite makes me sick
There’s broken grains in my head, I hear the seconds tick
Mix water with my blood, use a blade to cut my tongue
In place of red velvet, where must i belong
Beside you, behind you….alone. I won’t come along.
