Millie Bondor Poem
I like nature;
it is calm.
It has its truth
that I want.
The truth I search for in every soul,
not the masks I get to see
but the hidden faces I want to know.
I once had a mask.
It feeds you lies to keep it alive.
But being alive doesn’t matter
if it hunts you down
and burns your soul on the inside.
Because you think the outside
wears a disguise,
but with the clock ticking
it shows your cries —
shows the world how helpless you are,
and then the mask doesn’t help you at all.
So be like nature,
be its calm.
Grow yourself how you want.
Find the people who love the truth
and show you, with every heartbeat,
their love for you.

Millie Bondor Poem
My safe place is the person whose hug I miss
a little extra sometimes,
whose weight I carry gladly, as if it were mine.
It's not just empathy —
it's the understanding: we love, but it hurts sometimes.
I bleed when you're hurt,
when you aren’t near;
the presence I miss feels so real.
The melody of the voice I want to hear,
not just accept that you aren’t here.

Millie Bondor Poem
I lay down and think,
think about everything.
About failures from my past,
mysteries from the present and all
that could come next
to make my heart beat fast.
What will happen and what will I do?
It's easy to overthink it,
but fate is unknown – for me too.
Humanity is dying,
it's the only truth we know.
But faith I will never lose in you.
You're my light every night,
keeping the monsters out of sight.
You're the sound I need in silence,
the sun that lightens up the sky.
Your warmth with every touch I keep,
I feel it
when you aren't near.
Because I need you to live
like I need lungs to breathe.
Without you
I would drown in the sea of my tears
I cry for losing you.
That is the truth
you have to know.
You are my peace I need to remind me –
I'm not alone.
Even when I overthink
and my mind won't shut down.
I'm okay
when I'm not.
Thinking of you helps me a lot.
Your presence heals my world of chaos,
calms my mind and slows down my heartbeat,
like the only drug I'll ever need.

Millie Bondor Poem
I'm not yours and you're not mine.
It's not us,
just you and I.
Hard to explain, what is mine.
Feels like my heart belongs to yours sometimes.
Like two puzzle pieces making one,
you'd make me whole.
We would be the best picture of all the pictures ever before.
Fearing of false hope I may receive,
dreaming of the future I'd never want to leave.

Millie Bondor Poem
I want Love.
The kind of Love,
which holds my hands,
kisses my cheeks and gives me peace.
I want Love,
which wants me too,
"I'd let the world burn down for you".
I want Love,
which respects,
the "forever and beyond", I guess.
But where's this Love,
I can't see?
Do I miss the opportunity?
Or are just my expectations too high?
Is this Love too much Disney?
Or is Love just hiding from me?
Even if it is -
Love, you have to know:
I am going to always want you.

Millie Bondor Poem
In my eyes you're the greatest poem
one could write,
a newborn star shining bright.
Through the galaxy,
through time.
A person's love,
it is to be called mine.
If only it wouldn't be a lie
to call you mine.
If only there could be us,
not you and I.

Millie Bondor Poem
Holding my secret for only me alone.
For you not to feel,
for you not to hear,
breaking us I fear.
To confess is scary,
but it's not what my fear is about.
It's not having you near me,
what's letting me down.
I fell in love from far away,
missing touch and missing air.
Drowning in thoughts and craving your hug.
Somehow it feels like home,
to be seen like that.
But somehow I lost strength,
knowing I would do everything for you.
If only,
I could let go.
If only,
I would know you love me too.

Millie Bondor Poem
Oh God, I can't help it, can I?
I'm losing my mind.
I lost myself in you,
you gave me new reasons to giggle.
So pathetic I am,
laughing and rolling around in bed like a 5-year-old baby girl with her new doll she gets.
It's crazy what you do to me, and you don't even know —
it's a secret I hold onto tight,
’cause deep in my heart it matters so much it makes me cry.
I don't understand where this began.
Maybe somewhere between your smile and a conversation we had.
I have never felt this much of everything I know.
The happiest cries I don't show.
Your deep brown eyes I don't look into because of fear,
fear of getting lost in you.
And to get lost in you isn't the fear itself.
It's that maybe your brown eyes look into mine and can't rest.
I can't even think about you losing yourself like me,
all because of these feelings I get,
lost hope I seek.

Millie Bondor Poem
If he knew,
but what if he does and feels that way too?
Foolish I am,
for hoping for his feelings being the same as mine.
What if he sees me as a friend and not more, and I cry myself to sleep or even my death.
Sometimes, every time.
Sometimes I hope, but then it disappears.
I know my chances are low,
and I get depressed,
every time I try to rest.
Imagining holding his hands,
being held in his arms,
feeling loved as I always dreamt about.
Dreamt about my whole life.
I know,
I have time.
But I can't let go.
Let go of such feelings I have,
for you.
And then,
my poem becomes a message.
Transformed from "he" to "you".
Hoping you somehow find this and feel this way too.
But what if you know,
and feel this way too and are foolish for hiding it, like me, from you.

Millie Bondor Poem
Woke up today at 2 a.m.
to think of this boy again.
Which is crazy,
’cause I've never felt so much in my whole life
and I don't even know
what it is yet.
I open my eyes in the dark empty room with only stories to tell quietly,
to immediately think of you and die again,
realising what you did to me.
Part of me dies again as I choke on my tears and lose myself crying inside.
’Cause inside of me you have a special place in my heart that words can't describe.
Seriously,
I don't know what I cry for,
you make me happy in a way no one ever could before.
Maybe you overwhelmed me with everything you could,
your gentle words and tiny actions mean the world to me and everything they could.
