Twelve Dead Roses

Twelve dead roses
Wilted and cracked
No longer sweet-smelling
For water they have lacked

Once and elegant bouquet
Now withered and lifeless
Decaying in a precious crystal vase
Not even once missed

I Am From...

I am from cartoons,
and plain cereal with sugar.
I am from the leaves that fell,
and the wind in which they stir.
I am from the county fair,
with ice cream on a child's nose.
I am from that mystery book,
that can never be closed.
I am from the confusion you get,
when you can't figure it out,
and from that one mysterious boy,
you want to know all about.
I am from the blue tears,
that stroll down your face,
and from broken hearts,
from the boy you chased.
I am from the blue skies and green pastures,
where angels will fly.
The place I dream of every night,
Where no one ever cries.

I Can Swim, But I Should Fly

I can swim but I should fly!
If I do, will I die?
With the birds and the fish
fighting over me if they wish!
Am I racing with the number two?
With the fish in the ocean blue,
or with the birds in the sky?
But I'm afraid I will die!
What should I do?
Boohoo, boohoo!
I know, I know!
I will do both.
I will fly in the sky,
and this is no lie!
Then I will swim with the fish,
when they wish!

When I'M An Old Lady!

When I'm an old lady, I am going to wear tight jeans and a belly shirt to make my
grand kids say, "I don't know her," or "She's your grandma!"

When I'm an old lady, I'm going to scream, "Yo, what is up, my homies?"

When I'm an old lady, I will bake gingerbread men with my grand kids and also
plant flowers with them.

When I'm an old lady, I will have a slumber party with my old friends and we will
paint our nails and have a makeover.

When I'm an old lady, I will tell my grand kids all my secrets.

When I'm an old lady, I will have secret crushes and never tell a soul.

When I'm an old lady, I will sleep in my bed with stuffed animals and pretend I
am scared.

When I'm an old lady, I will decorate my room with rap singers.

When I'm an old lady, I will wear pajama's that have footy's on them.

When I'm an old lady, I will end up in a hospital bed.

When I'm an old lady, I will probably be dead.

After I'M Gone

After I'm gone
I want you to live life to the fullest
Do what you want to do
And a day will never be missed
Stand tall and keep your head high
Don't let nothing stop you
Live life the way you want to live it
Treat everyday as it was brand new
You're a beautiful individual
You can complete any dream
You can change anyones perspective
You can do anything
Don't worry, you won't be alone
I help guide you through
And if it seems like it won't get any better
Remeber I'll be right next to you

Spring

The green frog jumped up.
The fish in the pond were swimming.
What a lovely day!

The Cat

Hello ma'am!
My name is Sam.
     I am a cat,
As you see, I'm on your mat.
Please help me - I am a stray.
Can I have a bed in which to lay?
I can help you with your late time napping,
I can purr so you can sleep when you're camping!
     Ma'am you're so kind,
That you don't mind.

Before I Met You

Before I met you
I felt like my life sucked
It felt like nothing would get better
I felt like I was out of luck

My parents were getting a divorce
My relationships were going bad
Nothing was go my way
All it did was make me sad

I didn't know what to do
With all the pain inside
So I hurt myself
And decided to stay in my room and hide

But once I met you
My life changed
You made my life happy again
And I knew my life wouldn't be the same

Nothing matters anymore
You make me feel like I'm worth something
I feel like the luckiest girl alive
You truly are my king

The End

You shattered my heart
and torn it apart
You crushed it
and stomped on it

I cry
while I scrape up the remains
I hold them close to me
trying to hide the pain

The pain will never go away
The ghost of our love will haunt me forever
Always there next to me
Never leaving my side, ever

Our ties have been severed
and has wrapped around my neck
I gasp for air
Noticing that I am a total wreck

I have buried my heart
May it rest in piece
This is the end
Our love is deceased

Joshua

Every kiss sends a shock through me
Every touch makes my heart stop
The way he looks a me when making love
Makes my stomach turn into a knot
I want to know everything about him
I know this may sound just a little bit silly
But I want to be with him forever
And be Mrs. Joshua Lilly
