Chicken to a Pescatarian

Sometimes chicken tastes like fish.
Sometimes the fish's taste lingers on my tongue
hanging my mouth agape with its stench.
People leave to never be seen with me,
someone with a breath that lingers with the stench of fish.
Though I am a pescatarian, the fish had never done me wrong
I love fish!
But chicken never left a stench so repulsing
I was left alone.

imposter

There was a glimpse of myself in the mirror,
My skin; the same complexion, my eyes, my hair.
And yet I cannot recognize my voice as I speak,
When my teeth chatter out the words from my mind,
It is as if my control has slipped away.
Living mechanically with the enslavement of my own mind.

unwavering seas

The tides of my idle mind allow me rest
For when the time comes for the storms appearance
All my senses are heightened and yet
There is no room for feeling
Only the instinct of survival.
The storm rests in my mind, comfortably.
Turning away the tranquility it once allowed
Leaving a whirlwind for my mind to make sense of,
Turning away from all feeling
Only left as a husk to be rested in.

me

My friends dont know my birthday
and my family only mourns my uncle.
the day I was born is merely a day
a day i forsake myself to the thought of forever flowing love
my fate already guided to my minds condemned truth.
to the way of happiness my heart leads
to the way of death my mind preaches

forsake me of my thought.
