His eyes

His eyes

His amber brown eyes, brighter than the sunlight they shine; Falling for him was an inevitable crime when those eyes looked into mine.

Those sparkling jewels expressing feelings unspoken;

Lost in their beauty I stand there frozen.

I felt the warmth of his gaze under my skin;

I couldn't resist my smile as my heart did a spin.

His eyes are prettier than those starlit skies;

"He is not in love with you" I convinced myself with pretty lies

Then I was answered by my heart "Love never dies even if it's only from your side".

It's not necessary for him to be mine;

As long as I am his, my heart would never whine.

They say "True love demands nothing"

It's all about giving everything.

And expecting nothing in return;

Oh,amber brown eyes, yellow like the sun's rays at noon falling into mine

Forever in my heart they will burn.

In those eyes with flickering flames I saw my reflection;

His eyes captured me with affection,

Never felt prettier enough in front of the mirror but when my reflection was captured in those sparkly jewels I found myself looking like perfection.

Between us is there an ineffable connection?

Moonlight's embrace

In the hush of dawn's embrace;

The first thing I remember in the morning is his face

Soft whispers of light paint the sky;

Longing his presence, wishing he was mine As melody of feathered whispers filled the air;

My soul sensed the loneliness, your absence makes me wish you were here.

As soon as the afternoon unfolds its wings;

I heard your voice which made my spirits sing.

As you came closer time stilled; I saw your smile and my heart was filled.

These feelings trapped me like a flood;

I felt it within me running through my blood

He walked me to the nearby beach;

Till then I felt my heart beating within me so loud I had lost my sense of speech I listened to him talk about his day;

And in the yellow sand we both lay

Sunsets and wine;

Laying with him by the beachside Looking into his shining amber brown eyes; Holding his hands into mine He is so mesmerizing; I could feel my heartbeat rising Hours passed by;

Two souls lost in each other's eyes. He faced towards the starlit sky and said, "I am glad that we met" He held my hand; Helped me get up from all that sand

"Under the moonlight, we both will always unite', he said;

And his lips brushed against mine His kiss so soft and sweet ; felt like I was having a cotton candy down the street.

I melted in his arms; In his embrace I felt so calm Felt like I was away from all the worldly harm. He kissed me till we lost our breath. Between the kisses we both smiled;

In the quiet of the night, two souls intertwined God sent his angels from above

The angels smiled with halos bright; As we both danced under the celestial lights The angels showered us with eternal love

He is my midnight rain and I am his sunshine Our hearts for each other got entwined.
