Dragon

Speared through my heart, an arrow-
They spoke of it as a dark dismay,
But I found it somewhat to my fancy,
For it brought my dreams to play.

The scales that feathered down his spine
And sparkled; displayed upon his tail,
Caused my darkened eyes to shine,
As I beheld wondrously, the god of hell.

My tears dissolved without a warning
As his fiery breath struck my dazzled eyes,
I thought not of the coming morning
While he told me all his stunning lies.

I fell asleep while staring at the scarlet sky;
I remembered not the song I was to sing,
And so came the very last breath I should sigh-
Beneath the dragon's heavy wing.

Short Poems

Blackest curse, my darkest foe,
The love of whom I never know,
Requesting of the life from me,
And I reply, 'I come to thee,'
Icy chains bind me away
Into the dark, miles from day,
Thou, my friend, through death did save
Me miles of walking to my grave.

Sharp the blade and long the knife,
Stealing away my cursed life,
Thou art the answer to my call,
Thou art most peaceful of them all,
I take pleasure in thy hands holding back my heart
From beating on forever, no stop which to start,
Thou wilt be felt on my last breath,
Thee of whom is the God of death.

A glance out my window to inspire me
Six coal ravens did I see
A splendid fury in their cries,
Smoldering ashes in their eyes
Black as the devil, like diamonds they shine
I found myself wishing such attire were mine.

Untitled

My very best put to the test
When of his love I sought,
But thou reminds me of the zest
In love that is not bought

And when I finally gained his love
I found it to be untrue,
Those eyes that I had oft' dreamed of
Were black beneath the blue

But too late I chanced to notice this
When of me, he'd darkly spoken,
And he left, not without my first kiss
In return for a heart, well broken

Sorrow haunted my days from then
As I dreampt of the time whence I felt free,
But somehow thou made my life cheerful again,
And I found my true love within thee.

Dark Soul

It is I, day, who walks the night,
And stays far away from thy light
When thou bring thyself to play,
I lurk in shadow, brightest day,

Thy son's rays cannot pleasure me,
Entrapped in light, not meant to be,
Dost not thou see the way I miss
The cool of the darkest kiss?

Among my broken bones and glass,
I stay to see thou leave at last,
Before I wander out, not soon,
And howl at the crescent moon.

Unfair

Nowadays nothing is right,
You get in trouble, start a fight,
Your mommy tells you to be good,
Your dad would tell you if he could,

But he's gone; he left your mom alone,
A young mother without a home.

Every once in a while,
She'll give up and forget to smile,
And you can see the hurt inside
The hurt she always tries to hide,

Hey life, go away life,
I'm tired of what you say life,
You're so unfair
Everything you dare
I want to die today life..

You think it's wrong, the way she gets mad,
But in her heart she's just really sad,
She wanted the best of lives for you,
But on her own that's one thing she can't do,

Don't weigh her down, she's got enough,
Her own life's getting really tough,
She was nothing but a kid herself a second ago,
And now she's got a child of her own.

Hey life, go away life,
I'm tired of what you say life,
You're so unfair
Everything you dare
I want to die today life..

Broken Heart

Somebody told me the other day,

'You know the thing they always say,

Love hurts like hell,'

And somehow I know it's true,

Because I've been in love with you,

I hope you're doing well..

'Cause every time you get a broken heart,

And every time I see you break apart,

Every time your eyes hold pain, and

Your whole life goes down the drain, I

Hurt like crazy deep inside, can't

Stand to see you cry the way you cried,

I don't care about my own heartache,

I just can't stand to feel your heart break,

It's an experience I have felt before

And I don't want you to feel it no more,

Every night I'm dreaming of you, and I

Just can't find out what to do, because

I know you're hurting out there somewhere,

Maybe miles away, and it's no fair,

That I can't take your pain away and

Throw it back into yesterday, I

Wish you would not look behind, so

I wouldn't feel your pain in my mind, and

I should've known what love would cost me,

When you went and simply forgot me,

But now it's only way too late,

'Cause I cannot find any hate, and

I can't get love off, it's just a part of me

And here comes another broken heart for me.

Adoration

Every time I look at you all I wanna do,
Is hug you all day and tell you 'I love you',
It's kinda crazy how you don't think you're great,
There's not a single thing about you that I could hate,
I love your awesome smile whenever you are glad,
I love the way you look when you want something bad,
Everything about you is all the things that I adore,
In fact there's not enough of you- I'm always wanting more,
You might be a little weird but that don't change my love a bit,
You might not be the smartest, but that doesn't mean a thing,
Your silly sense of humor makes me laugh when I'm feeling down,
I couldn't stop loving you; I'd be nothing without you around,
There's not a single word you say, not a thing that you could do,
To make this odd little girl ever, ever stop loving you,
And if the world exploded and the human race was long forgot,
Well just before I'd be no more you would be my final thought.
