Brandon Cruz Poem
My heart can feel it, the overwhelming surge of emotion.
It grips and it tears with merciless ferocity as if it was a wild animal within my body and I can't stop it from overtaking me.
A transformation of sorts, a lycan from the underworld.
Born from the underbelly of my inner darkness and desolate descent into spirit death.
And as I decay, slowly decay.
I leave behind me when passing by as if a trail of lingering stench.
As if the smell is attached to the very essence of my being and human interaction.
Well maybe in my case inhuman interaction for I lost track of what mercy and belief in humanity is.
My world is now carnivorous and carnal.
I am a hunter now, I am always ready to go for the kill with guns that shoot emotional tranquilizers that ensure my remaining humanity is sedated, captured, and eaten.
I am never full.
Any hope of satisfaction or satiation is sedated.
Lord have mercy…..I don't remember the last time I had mercy.
I don't remember the last time I deserved it.
Mercy me, let those who can run away run free.
Let those who can run away, run away from me….

Its been 2 years of a marriage.
We rode together by horse and carriage.
You are the loveliest of all flowers and your eyes deeper than space.
I can trace all the stars in them and they lead me to my favorite place.
Its your heart.
When I hear its beat.
And I can't help but wanna sleep in your blood stream.
Your chest is where I lie and never wanna leave.
I wanna always be on your mind like an invincible brain cancer.
No amount of chemo will get rid of me.
I wanna always feel on your skin.
And breath in your beautiful air.
I wanna get lost in your love.
And get my fingers tangled in your nappy hair.
I wanna live in your soul.
And take refuge in your existence.
I want to have a love so strong, we can't survive if there is distance.
I need the clarity of your words.
And the warmth of your smile.
I want the kind of love that guarantees your staying awhile.
No better yet an eternity!
I want to love you forever and never lose it for one moment.
I want a love that tattoos into your heart that tells everyone else I own it!
Your my sunrise in the morning and the light in my night.
I wanna always be your warm embrace.
I wanna always be the one to hold you tight.
Your my everything and I cant get enough.
I promise to always love you and be your rock even when it gets tough....

Wake up in the morning and its hard to breath.
Negativity in the air is making my lungs bleed.
My Chest is collapsing.
My mind is Crashing!
The Effects of my childhood are still lasting.
Forgetting my past is harder than 40 days fasting!
I Don't need any sympathy, didnt ask for it.
Life is a tape that doesn't rewind it just fast forwards.
And I Can't ignore it.
Life is like an alcoholics bottle, it doesn't care about how much is in your glass it just pours it!
But I definitley can't complain about it.
I wouldn't know how to get up and fight without it.
Life was always hard.
It left me badly scarred.
But I learned in life its not just about the finish.
But if you actually start!
Negativity will always exist.
It can feel like the other end of Tysons fist.
But you gotta remind yourself that your stronger than this.
You gotta be more lethal than a woman's kiss!
You gotta be your own cure to negativities toxic!
Live on, and get up when you fall.
I know its hard to build walls.
People wanna start wars and break them down.
Its okay you can't win them all.
I am strong and unrelenting.
Spirit stronger than any material, never bending!!!
I repel all that negativity is sending!
I will always fight to be like a waterfall, forever flowing, ever ending.....
