Reconciled

Forgive me Lord, please forgive me
I tremble at your feet.
My soul is tired; I seek your refuge,
Let your love, pour over me.

I turned away, and now my sin pierces my soul.
Your gaze burns bright, your loving tears, overflow.

Heal me Lord, give me healing.
Restore my tattered heart.
I love you Lord wont you lead me
Hold my hand throughout the dark

My soul cries out, how I long to see your face.
I want you near, I need to know you’re in this place.

Love me Lord, I know you Love me
Though At times its hard to see
I search for you in my trials
I feel you comfort me

My Heart aches for you, You hold me when I tire.
My soul burns for you, let it burn as gold in fire

Hold me Lord, Please just hold me,
Let me feel your warm embrace
I love you Lord, Oh how I love you
I feel you in this place.

Sleep Calls Softly

Sleep calls soflty,
Tugging at my weary mind.
My soul breathes out,
releasing its burdens into the arms of endless time.

I relax, and my fortress falls,
letting my mind sort through smokelike thoughts,
drifting through a sea of conciousness.

Sleep calls softly,
An entrancing melody,
Distant, but drawing near.
I can feel her presence.

Gently, she draws the strength from me,
Encircling my body like a gentle and welcome breeze.
Soon I cannot hold her weight and I sink slowly into the depth of her comfort...

The Storm

Thunder Rolls, my soul echoes its sentiment.
My Spirit is dark and gloomy like the sky.
A memory strikes, an illuminating moment.
My heart fissures painfully,
I close my eyes against the agony, but the vision is vivid.
I see lightning flash behind my eyes
The rain begins to pour...

My Loves' Potential

I have never met anyone on whom I can pour out the love that my passionate nature
has
bestowed upon me. My feelings are strong and new, and are in that state in which the
mysterious law of human emotion requires that they should find an object on which they can
alight and rest. They rest on you, not by reason, not by calculation; they rest on you
because they have. My love has flown from my chest to find solace in you, either
independently of my desire, or so closely united with it that it is not possible to say whether I
love because I choose to love, or whether I love because I find myself loving….

My love, in departing my chest, sought solace in you. But fear, loves repellant, hath not
allowed its entry. And I, poor wretched soul am I! I have lost my heart to one who trembles
to accept it. My blood ever flows through my veins, my breath comes steady, but my heart
ah! My heart is bruised; It beats a sore purple, my days are overcast, my smiles, vacant. He
grips my heart in a painful grasp; I wince at the pain, yet revel in the holding.

But the day is soon coming when I shall be liberated either by his will or my own. I shall
not dwell in captivity forever. Rather, I will break these bonds and be free of a love that does
not deserve its title, or he will realize his cruelty and set me at liberty in either the freedom
of his arms, or by returning me to the sovereignty of my loves’ potential.

Never Letting Go

Come be with me a while now,
We've been too long apart.
Stay here by my side now,
we'll let the evening start.
Can't you feel the time rush by? The day will soon depart.

So let me see you smile love,
That impish, playful grin.
How it lights you eyes love,
Your soul glowing from within.

And let me hear you laugh love,
A warm and sunlit sound.
Don't let these moments pass love,
No worries to be found.
We'll laugh and smile and rest a while as happiness surrounds.

No, don't close your eyes love,
Don't hide your gaze from me.
Oh, but how they shine love,
The color of the sea.
And such a joy it is each time you rest those eyes on me!

My fingers brush your face love,They trace its every plane.
My head rests on your chest love,
As we listen to the rain.
It patters on the sidewalk, running down the windowpane.

So wrap your arms around me,
and pull me very close.
I feel your strength surround me,
I'm willing time to slow,
So we can breathe here deep and dreaming, never letting go.

Breathless

"Dance with me"
His breathe tingles against my ear.
I see that glint in his eyes and my breathe catches in my chest.

He spins me out onto the floor, his presence commanding.
He is confident and in control,
and yet we are both immersed in chaos, seconds from falling, inches from colliding.

But we don't.

I see an opening, and now I am in control and hungry for power.
I grin as I initiate, and his answering smile is sly.
But I cannot keep my advantage, and his strength overwhelms me.
he swiftly pulls me in and the audience gasps! I am falling!

Only to be caught and returned to my feet.
I laugh.
He slows and pulls me close, teasing.
Our bodies move together,
for a moment peace and order riegning.
Only to be spun into glorious chaos once again.

I am breathless...
