Alycia Broadbent Poem
It shines so bright
In the sky at night
As it is setting
All the nocturnals begin awakening
It is there new day
But for us it is the dawn
And all the stars are strawn
All colours a glow
As the stars come out
Red purple and blue
A colour hue
We go to sleep
As the owls peep
Through the trees
Then sunrise
Colours all a hue again
Beginning of new day
All the nocturnals go away
And diuranal come out to play
All the rabbits and mice
They don't think twice
We love the dawn and sunrise
It opens our eyes
A wonderess world

Alycia Broadbent Poem
Let me tell you about my experience with autism and ADHD
From moments of forgetfulness and yippee dee
Sorry I lost track now where were we
Oh yes
About autism and ADHD
I see the world in colours
All bright and beautiful
I notice the most annoying sounds
But I could tell you all about musical theatre and other interests of me
Like quizzes and history
Like when they started running the first presidency
It was George Washington then john Adams and the rest is history
But King George did tax there tea
And started a protest called the Boston tea party
Sorry Im going off tract again
But that is what it is like inside my brain
I could run barefoot in the rain
It would not bother me
I enjoy little quirks and moments of hyperactivity
Because its what makes me me

Alycia Broadbent Poem
I am suffocating
I can't breathe
I am choking
I can't see
I can't move
I am scared
Is this real
Is this a dream
I cant scream
Someone wake me up

Alycia Broadbent Poem
A dark cold September
Rain falls
A man calls
But no one can hear
No one is near
As he lays in the rain
He thinks of his last refrain
A thought comes to his brain
He will never see his family or friends again
He takes his last breath
And closes his eyes
No one hears his last goodbyes

Alycia Broadbent Poem
Cut throat
Cut knife
Its double edged life
Blood drips
Life slips
Whispers gone away
Nothing to say
Young lives losts
Souls gone forever
All because people think there clever
Brainwashed into senselessness
Adding to there so called cleverness
Innocent angels
Dirty devils
The sense of all evil
Big or small
Should have no knives at all
Bring in a license to use
Up the age limit
Use a permit
Lets save lives
Don’t use knives

Alycia Broadbent Poem
This is my goodbye
I leave high
As I get my angel wings
My heart sings
My soul soars up above
As I turn into a dove
I want to say sorry
Sorry for being a burden
Sorry for being a pain
My tears are the rain

Alycia Broadbent Poem
Her wings are sharp and rusty
Her might is all a musty
Tears of rust she cries
As another soul dies
Someone minding their buisness
Not in a gang just walking the street
Going home after work to make ends meet
But they met with the angel of death
One quick stab they took their last breath
A breath that could have been saved
But in peer pressure the person caved
And took the soul of young one
This time a child
Someone so meek and mild
Timid like a cat
They wouldn't give it all that
They was a child of 5
A chance to be so alive
Who else has to go
Before the law is changed we can't say so
So say no to knives
Unless you need them in your cutlery lives
Say no to peer pressure
Get keir starmer to read this poem
And how for many it hits home
Keir starmer we are done
No knives
Save lives

Alycia Broadbent Poem
Sitting in a dim room I wait
I start to hesistate
Should I leave or should I stay
I feel like I'm only going to get in the way
Suddenly the door opens
And a man smiles
It's a girl he says
It was worth the while
Im going to be a father
Why was my mind playing would I rather
I'm so glad I stayed
I look at the little bundle of joy
Tell the wife I'm glad it's a girl even though I secretly wanted a boy
We named her molly
And put her in a little pram which had a brolly
We took her to our house
She was a quiet as a little mouse
She hardly cried
Even though she sometimes tried
We was never tired
Run ragged or wired
We were proud of our molly
As she grew up
We got her a little pup
She did acting and dancing
Was award winning
In our eyes
And to our surprise
She was older and getting married
Our molly was now a proud parent to a little girl
Our hearts did a giddy whirl
For our molly and her little girl pearl
