My Soul Sister

?"Sisters touch your heart in ways no other could.
Sisters share... their hopes, their fears, their love, everything they have.
Real friendship springs from their special bonds."
~Carrie Bagwell~
(This quote led my heart to write my own, see below)

I love you my sister.... A chance meeting, a sister bond not born of the same parents, but the heart has brought us together as sisters, forever, bonded by a deeper love, my soul sister from God himself. (Shyne930, 2012)

In Love With Your Scent

~ I swear!! your scent I just love.

It truly makes my soul sing.

There is no way to exactly explain it, it's as though our souls have meet before.

For your scent is so familiar, yet so new and renewing like the oceans breeze.

~ Your scent tugs on my hearts strings which plays the most beautiful melody that invokes tears of the sweetest joy.

You ask "If I make you cry , why do you stay?"

    My response is simply this,

          it's your scent,

          it's intoxicating,

          it's additive,

          it's all encompassing,

    and it burns my flesh with desires;

    to my souls deepest regions.

~Your scent traps my soul in it's place and takes my heart hostage.

My mind it captures with that sweet smell of sandalwood and mango that escapes you...........

If You Think You Know Me, Think Again

It is not a knowledge based judgement when stereotyping is your research.

It is a judgement off of broad and unclear definitions (labels) made up by "people in power" to oppress diversity.

So before you make judgments off of discriminatory facts, remember; I believe half the truth is equivalent to the whole lie.

Therefore, if your basing what you perceive you know of me by broad and unclear labels, it is a complete and utter lie to say you know my kind. (Shyne930)

The Jewels of Motherhood - I Solute My Motherly Figures

Boy I can say me and my mom has been through some rough years together and apart, but I have to say at the end of the day; THERE IS NO MOM LIKE MINE... I know she did her best with what she had. That I am now more grateful then ever. I seen my mothers struggles, It groomed me for my days away from her. Unspoken lessons I carried all through it. My Grandmother's embrace always kept my heart warm, I ? her dear, she is my Shero... My Mom my Hero....(R.I.P.) To Janice & Mz Penny , and all the other motherly figures in my life time, I solute you and thank you for every jewel you gave me, they are tucked safe away to share with my seeds. Your strengths, wisdom, and endurance passes on.

This Old Wood School Desk

OMG the smells of the woods and the old musky smells of the building,
the texture and smells of a good book.
The beauty in it all, wishing I could be a child again, but this time free, free from the
bondage's that once held me down.
The innocence ripped from the child sitting in this chair,
the only comfort she could find was in the woods.
Mother Earth was her best friend, the one she ran to for protection and nurturing.

What She Does

She brings blushing smiles when she is not here...
She makes my heart skip a beat and takes my breath away when a thought of her passes by...
My stomach flutters as if a dozen butterflies are flying around in my soul; tickling my most inner core...
Thats just what I feel when she is not near.... Part 1

For when she is here, my heart races, my body trembles, and my soul is on fire with desires...
Her touch is like no other; it burns my flesh and sends my passions high, her energy engulfs my persona and takes it on a wild ride....
That is what she does when she is near.... Part 2

Personal Last Quote of the Day

"Although prejudice and discrimination has subsided over time and history, it is hidden in every corner of our present; for there is no escape from diversity in America. As hostility and violence is less prevalent some say, to say we live in a society of Pluralism, is to speck prematurely and blindly."

Live In the Present So God Can Bless Your Future

Today is a new day... One filled with wonder, a day like no other, to be in the moment of the present. We always ponder on past events, running them over and over again, just to see where we could have done things different. We look at the future as a burden sometimes, seeing the hurdles and struggles coming we try to side step the issues. We try to be proactive in God's calling, have we not learned it is on his time, he knows the outcomes of our decisions, he has bigger and better plans. So today we must stop blocking our blessing by living in the past and the future at the same time. To allow yourself to live in the present so God can bless your future. Ashe'

What Spring Rains Mean To Me

I ? when it rains in the spring,
fresh air, quenched earth, nutrients ingested,
 all things prosper with love.
The clouds open up to shower life on earth,
these showers move nutrients through the soil to the root of all things.
Then the SUN comes once the clouds have passed
and the showers have quenched the earth thirst for growth.
A RAINBOW appears to remind us
HE/SHE is the creator of all things kind, gentle, peaceful, and loving.
Let spring 2012 be your sprouting year
on a task that must be done.
Let not another day pass without applying God's will that has been given you.
