Amy Frazey Poem
Something shining, glinting in the Darkness,
golden points of light stare back at me,
and tell me just where the predator hides,
waiting to spring upon me.
Will the beauty tear me apart?
Or will it leap in play,
purring like a kitten?
The mirror clouds over,
hiding what it sees.
And I know, the danger lies within.

Amy Frazey Poem
Blessed be the dreamers,
for they know how to hope.
Blessed be the mothers,
for they know the value of life.
Blessed be the faithful,
for they know the power of prayer.
Blessed be the wanderers,
for they know the ways of the world.
Blessed be the silent,
for they know how to truly listen.
Blessed be the teachers,
for they know the joy of a child.
Blessed be the lost,
for they know how it feels to be found.
Blessed be the joyful,
for they know the importance of laughter.

Amy Frazey Poem
Baby's laughter, given wings
Can you all hear it?
Do you see?

Amy Frazey Poem
A beautiful nightmare haunts me,
I am spellbound by her words.
The death of a thousand nights,
the loss of a thousand tales.
Spin me a parable of love and triumph,
wrap me in a fable of pain and life.
Ensnared, I bow to the grace of eloquence
and cry for the mercy of silence.

Amy Frazey Poem
Hunting season- his joy, mine too.
Because while he's off with his crew,
I head out for some shopping,
With no thoughts of stopping!
After all, what else can I do?

Amy Frazey Poem
A man named Noah once built a sailboat
so large people said it would never float.
But the waters they rose,
the doors he hurried to close,
then did he look at his neighbors and gloat.

Amy Frazey Poem
Sun kissed roses and moon cast shadows,
this garden holds dark beauty.
Shifting eyes are ever watchful,
seeking me out with devilish glee.
Haunted castle looming above,
with it's banshee filled towers.
Crimson tears and scarlet pain,
these are the colors of my world.
And still I must go on,
unearthing buried secrets.
Dancing down the darkened halls,
the sprites of winter surround me.
Frozen emotion stills my heart,
and now I join the skeletons in the closet.

Amy Frazey Poem
There once was a skunk in my yard,
And although I'm no bard,
I'll tell you the story,
of how I won glory,
As soon as my door is unbarred.

Amy Frazey Poem
Falling down the rabbit hole,
tumbling, twisting, uncontrolled.
Regret filled voices fill the void,
each one calling out my name.
Caught in fractured dreams,
reflections of my true self haunt me.
Blood red shards fill the air,
no love remains here.
Bitter pieces of a broken mind,
seeking out my personal truth.
Step through the shattered mirror with me,
and see this unreality.
