Ethereal Dreams and Sapphire Skies

Silver orbs of night dissolve in radiant beams,
Ethereal symphonies surrender to thy gentle dreams.
Clouds, parched with passion, dissolve in sapphire skies,
My life's tumultuous sea subsides in thine enchanting eyes.

Art thou a celestial zephyr or lotus of divine hue?
Thou illuminest the guiding stars of my heart anew.
Is this a chromatic vision or karma's sweet design?
Thou hast filled my soul with love's ambrosial wine.

Silver orbs of night dissolve in radiant beams,
Ethereal symphonies surrender to thy gentle dreams.
Are thou a Phoebus-like deity or gilded sculpture divine?
If thy alabaster fingers bloomed as roseate vines,
If thy honeyed voice resounded from a golden, shimmering shrine,
If I awoke as a melodic whisper, sublime and swell,

Silver orbs of night dissolve in radiant beams,
Ethereal symphonies surrender to thy gentle dreams.
Clouds, parched with passion, dissolve in sapphire skies,
My life's tumultuous sea subsides in thine enchanting eyes.

Remember Me

O Lord, I cry to You, from the depths of my soul,
Remember me, dear Jesus, as the good thief made whole.
He sought Your mercy, on the cross, in his final hour,
And You, O Lord, granted him paradise, in Your loving power.

The other thief, with a heart full of pride,
Scoffed at Your power, and Your love, and he died.
His cry, a challenge, to Your authority and might,
But You, O Lord, remained silent, in the face of his plight.

Teach me, O Lord, to pray, with a humble heart,
To seek Your mercy, and Your love, from the very start.
May my cry, be like the good thief's plea,
And may I, like him, experience Your loving kindness, and be set free.

For You, O Lord, are a God, of mercy and love,
Slow to anger, and abounding in kindness, from above.
You hear the prayers, of the humble and the broken,
And You, O Lord, lift them up, and their hearts are unspoken.

So I will pray, O Lord, with a heart that's true,
And seek Your mercy, and Your love, anew.
May my prayer, be like incense, that rises high,
And may You, O Lord, hear my cry, and pass me by.

Autumn's Lament

Oh, fairest leaves, like golden crowns,
That rustle, whisper, and softly fall,
Like Nature's tears, that mourn the passing hours,
And weep for summer's lost, and love's sweet recall.

Your verdant hue, now amber, crimson, and torn,
Like fleeting joys, that wither, and are born,
In autumn's twilight, where the winds do mourn,
And whispers of the past, in sorrow, are forlorn.

Oh, leaves, dear leaves, like sentinels of time,
That stand, like spectral guardians, of the seasons' chime,
You've seen the birth, growth, decay, and final fall,
Of generations, like the waves, that rise, and lose their all.

And thou, oh tree, a sage, a witness to the seasons' sway,
That hast seen all, from bud to fade, day by day,
Thou knowest the secret, of the leaves' shedding might,
A protective blanket, for the roots, through winter's night.

Oh, fairest leaves, like golden crowns,
That rustle, whisper, and softly fall,
Like Nature's tears, that mourn the passing hours,
And weep for summer's lost, and love's sweet recall.

A city's Road, A life's Journey

In city streets, where concrete's might
Reigns supreme, I wander, lost in night
A stranger in this urban maze and pain
Searching for a refuge from life's driving rain

The drivers' skills, a mystery to share
A riddle wrapped in chaos, with no one to care
They drive with passion's fire, yet senseless and blind
Their horns, a cacophony, that pierces the mind

A symphony of chaos, that echoes through the night
I search for solace, in the silence, a peaceful sight
The stars above, a twinkling sea
A reminder of the infinite's mystery

Oh, city of gold, where hearts are sold
And love's a distant, fading light, to grow old
I yearn for peace, for a refuge from the fray
A place to call my own, where love will find its way

So I write, to win the bread, and make ends meet
A means to sustain, to survive, and find my feet
The job applications, a never-ending test
The rejections, a familiar tune, that I've learned to rest

"We'll move forward, with another applicant," they say
A phrase, that's lost its sting, as I've weathered many a day
But still I hold on to hope, a glimmer of light
A trust, that God has something better, in store for my plight

Perhaps, I'm being refined, like silver in the fire
A temporary punishment, for my deeds, that will soon retire
For when God opens doors of blessings, no one can shut them tight
I'll walk through them, with gratitude, and a heart full of delight

So I'll keep on writing, through the noise, the chaos, the strife
For in the words, I find my strength, my voice, my life.

The promise that remains

Twilight's soft veil descends upon the earth,
And in its shadows, sacred whispers birth;
The heart's lotus blooms, its petals unfurl'd,
Drinking the nectar of a Whispered Promise curl'd.

Oh, fleeting hour, when day's last sigh doth fade,
And night's dark veil, the soul's deep passions shade;
The fire within, a burning flame doth rise,
Guiding us through life's labyrinthine, winding guise.

Shall we find solace in love's gentle might?
Or shall we search, through endless, sleepless night?
Oh, twilight's mystic voice, what secrets tell,
Of heart and soul, and the Whispered Promise to compel?

Thy whispers, heart, what tender vows reveal,
In thy deep chambers, what loving mysteries conceal?
And thou, Whispered Promise, sacred echo of old,
What hidden meanings in thy depths doth unfold?

Twilight's soft veil descends upon the earth,
And in its shadows, sacred whispers birth.

In the Shadows of Memory

In Twilight's Hollow

In twilight's hollow, shadows pirouette,
Amidst whispers of a dying day's last breath.
My soul, a canvas, worn by love's dark hue,
Echoes with longing, like a distant, mournful dew.

Oh, fairest night, thy veil of darkness falls,
A shimmering mist that beckons to memory's walls,
Where embers of our love still glow, a fleeting dream,
Haunting my waking hours, a persistent, aching theme.

In this desolate land, where darkness reigns supreme,
I search for thee, my guiding star, my heart's sweet, searing pain,
A vision of lost joy, beckoning me to roam,
Through the vast, uncharted expanse of time and space.

Yet, in silence, I hear thy whispered name,
A promise echoing through passion's fading flame,
A bond that once united our hearts, now reduced to ash,
A dying ember, flickering in the dark's cold clash.

Oh, cruel fate, that took thee from mine eyes,
Leaving me here, to pine in misery's dark, hollow surprise,
The stage, once filled with love's sweet, tender, vibrant might,
Now empty, hollow, devoid of thy radiant light.
