Chaugrelsch: Tomb I

Known since children
We took upon each other
As friends, we grew
Separated by birth, only in mother

No father should we
Ever call the same
Yet a family of friends
Is what you would say

It was late
When we fell in love
I say we,
Like it was the both of us

You love me
as a brother does to another
but it is you
Whom I want
as my lover

She may try to hold you
Like I sooner would
But never could her passion
Match the fire in my heart

You don’t know our love
You can’t think it
To you I am forever
But only as your friend

Then it must rely to me
To capture what’s mine
To take your soul
And warm it in my hearth

No longer will she touch you
No more shall you kiss
Unless it is for me
That you rest upon the lips

If the boy in me
Shall not win your love
Than the man in I
Shall steal away yours

And hide her
Never to be found
Until your back in my home
Right where you belong

In my dreams,
is the place where we are together
Only in my dreams
Do I have such power

To make you stay with me
Or to make all others fade
Buried below my boards
Never would they have
A piece of my lover

The Ballad of the Lover Boy

He never found love,
You found he.
He didn’t know how to find you again…
But he found why you left.

You reached out from the void,
Showed him compassion,
But he broke your hand,
Now it’s just black again.

He stood alone in the fog,
Could still smell your embrace,
The blood has washed off,
But your heart is still bleeding.

You never needed he to be happy,
I need you…

Your colours dimmed
But never went dull
The lights in your eyes faded in tone
But never were extinguished

From the out
Is to see in
A new angle in which to see
The dark musings he played on you

A monster
A poison
A fool
Now a lost scripture

A dirty reminder
To where a man would stand
If thee were to wage war
With loves mere hands

It’s too dark here
To read the markings on his skin
So instead I will wither
Never to be known, again.

Where The Water Lily’s Grow

The flowers in their spring
Beauty no longer in the eye
Beholden to none
Flowing in the water

Our love lived there
Where the water Lilys grow
We walked down the river, together
Tangling feet in mud

The summer air
Young love pushing our persons
Only simply time itself
Denigrating our water Lilys

Leaving our walk
Bereft the stream
Dried bones
Are all I became

The place the water lies grow
Presses on for others
Abandoned is what I caused you
Listless is where I’m left

Take care,
Wherever your water Lilys grow
Make it there
Be happy for the both of us

Alone in dirt,
Touched only by leaves
Is where you may find
The mound of bones,
That once was me

Ripley

It’s quiet here
Now that you’re gone
The floors don’t speak softly
Missing your steps

The wind blows
without sound
But stings
All the same

I turn my head
To try and find you
Then it comes
You are gone

I visit your place
In which you won’t move again
The ground is tough
But smoothens my limbs

Without you
The rage boils
 within

Home for the anger
Has no place to go
Homeless

I will keep living
So you will stay
If only
In my mind

If only
In the quiet
Of this place

The Boy and the Girl

The bees to the flowers
The ants to the colony
Termites to the wood
The boy to his girl

As the ants burrow in the hill
Wolves in a cave
And the worms in the dirt
The girls heart is embedded
Into her lovers chest

For she loves her
as the boy loved the girl
The geese leave there home
When the summer comes round

Though, no summer would come
To mark the migration of her love
Left without a flap of wings
Or, perhaps, the boy ignored
The flight all along

The strength of the light
That inundates the lands
It is to rise upon

To was the sorrow the boy felt
When the girl sought to be happy
But he too was blinded

The boy who couldn’t connect
With the girl he once held
Blame to be pinned on he
But only too late
For she was gone
And the boy was
Alone

12 Forms of Humanity

Its the fact that they’re all alone

That they had no lover anymore

That their parents had passed

Then with the betrayal of their friend

Were it for the sorrow read from a book

Or the sight of another spilt blood

It’s when they saw their true love

That they held ones own child

That they laughed until they couldn’t draw breath

Then when they heard, the sound of another

Were it for the care, shed by their love

Or with the gentle embrace, of their mother

Feeling

Feeling:

Its hard for you
Now that I’m gone
And that’s ok

The piece of me
That was your heart
Will always be gone

Until we are
together again
In what lies beyond

But as weeks pass
You’re heart
 shall mend

Perhaps not back
To what was before
But that is perfect

I won’t always be with you
When you are happy
Or with a another

But when you are sad
And recall of my face
Then I shall come

Im sorry I’ve left
And its not your fault
T’was the dark from all around

I did not go gentle
Let you know
I stayed as long as I could

But I loved you
And you
Loved me

I will rest
In the dirt
Beneath the stone

Come to visit
At any time
I am always here

I hope to see
Once again
For real,
This time
