As the light peeks through

7am, sound asleep next to me you once laid.
Now I’m up all night, in this lonely bed I made

The same question racks my brain,..every time I see the sun
What made myself feel the need,..to go and jump the gun

People tend to believe things always happen for a reason
And I can’t help but to think that reason, was just selfish self-treason.

The thought of you, disrupts my breath.
Then quickly wanders to the day of our “death”.

I just wish there were things I could say or do.
To get that 7am back next to you,..as the light peeks through

Dancing butterflies

Flutters of romance.
Tender wings tango with grace:
Intimate monarchs.

Envious Sands

Whispers of light,
Ring in the ears of the sea:
As jealous sands watch

Reflection of You

There are many guiding stars,
And even more morning lights.
With Many paths to walk,
And many troubles to fight.

But I’m here to stay,
No matter which star you choose.
Because your MY morning light,
I’m not willing to lose.

Give me that perfect mirror,
Of those blue panes I gaze through.
So when you look into my eyes,
You’ll always see that,..reflection of you.
