A Whisper

I still hear the sound of truth whispering clear.
Every part inside of me says not to remain here.

So I will take another step far away.
I'm moving closer to the edge of day.
I have been falling to far out of line.
But this contempt shall no longer be mine.

I will shroud my face in ever lasting breath .
For at any moment I could meet the bringer of death.
There can't be freedom in the flags of fear.
It's time for me to recognize what isn't clear.

And so I will hold my head up for lasting grace.
As fleeting moments leave without a trace.
It's time for me to understand what's inside.
When I do I shall never again let it hide.

I'm still walking forward to the edge.
I gaze beyond a tangled, endless ledge.
I open up my arms to reach the sky.
Releasing all I knew that became a lie.

And now I stand before my fate.
I let go the last whispers of my hate.
Finally I let my soul return to what is free.
It's time to let the world know what I have come to be .

The Blue Room

Far away from homeward bound;
Awaits a place of adventure to be found.
Turn skyward for the eyes to see;
Be bold and imagine what might be.
Above the highest tops of trees;
To a place only a bird sees.
A world of cloudless deep blue to amaze;
As far and as wide as the eyes can gaze.
So put on your wings and reach for the sky;
Get ready to let your soul soar high.
Far from all that troubles are made;
To a place where all your worries fade.
A place in which you control your own;
A place of which no direction need shown.
Just freedom in the heavens as far as you go;
Your very own place, your very own show.
So go ahead and dare to dream;
Make your flight shimmer and gleam.
And if anyone asks you where you will be;
Tell them the "Blue Room" is all you see.

Glow

Breaking upon a landslide's crest.
My heart is still the thing that fits me best.
Even though I ran among the rest.
I know now I am being put to the test.

There is no time for me to spare.
I've given everything with all my care.
There is no need to stop and stare.
I've done what i believe, what I find fair.

Now its time to let it all go.
To everything I pretended not to know.
Or maybe it just wasn't time to show.
But inside my heart a garnet fire will glow.

At the turning point, I find myself here.
I was in control, but afraid to stear.
Then suddenly it all became crystal clear.
Walking tall in this life I shall not fear.

I will not accept indecision of anything that is foe.
I'm ready for any complications that may bestow.
I'm moving in streams. I am the flow.
In my heart a garnet fire gives glow.

Set Free

Encased in the dark, I can't make a sound.
Been wandering lost, never again to be found.
Dreaming away to some misty forgotten shore.
For an enchanted life that gets filled with lore.
I'm trying hard to get by on my own .
But I'm tangled in weeds forever over grown.

Set me free.
The truth was a lie.
Let me be.
I can survive.

All around, spinning effortless till the end.
A need no one, for myself I will fend.
No longer shall anyone or anything keep me bound.
Trapped in vines, I thought to never break free.
But my soul grew strong like an ancient tree.

Set me free.
Your truth was a lie.
Let me be.
I will survive.

Here I am , I have made it at last.
Like pounding waves, my heart racing fast.
Doesn't matter now, It all turned to past.
I've climbed on top, my flag flies high upon the mast.

I've set myself free
My truth is alive.
I'm set free.
The fire's inside.
I'm set free.
My truth is alive.

Running Blind

I need a way for my life to steer.
The direction is translucent, reflecting clear.
I have not yet found any place to go.
But I never did want anyone to show.
My own chaotic trip is my blame.
Perhaps it is time to put into frame.
Flowing foward, moving ahead.
Looking for a place for my skin to shed.
I wanted to make it all on my own.
The path I am taking has never been known.
I'd retrace my steps and look behind.
But the trail of life has no rewind.
So I'll keep searching for some place to find.
Even if I know sometimes I run blind.

Night Shade

I live in the mountains of Star Dust.
I control all of the seas.
I am around every corner.
I am surrounded by trees.

See me fade into shadow.
See me rearrange the stars.
Watch me sparkle in heaven.
Watch me become part of it all.

Down Under caverns.
Developed in dreams.
I am the night.
I am the shadow.
I am nothing as it seems.

Now I run through the tall grass.
Now I run with my eyes.
All that gazes wide open,
Becomes part of the skies.

Bring me to Night Shade.
Bring me to life.
Give me a heart beat to guide with.
Give me seclusion in the night.

Shadowed by star light.
Enclosed by celestial seas.
Far from my own emptiness.
Far from my own means.

I live in the mountains of Star Dust.
I can control all of the seas.
I am found around every corner.
I keep surrounded by trees.

See me fade into the shadow.
See me rearrange the stars.
Give me a heart beat to guide with.
Give me shelter under it all.

Down beneath misty caverns.
Developed only by dreams.
I am the darkest of Night.
I am the smoothest of shadow.
I am nothing as it seems.

Lost and Found

You listened, you shared and you guided me.
You told me of what times would come to be.

I had to weather it, there was no shelter for me.
You held my eyes open so I could see.

And you were always there, no matter the wrong.
But the day came quick that you were gone.

You left the same way that we all must go.
A place uncertain that no one can fully know.

I imagine you in a shimmering place.
I still see the last smile upon your lovely face.

Sometimes I can't hold the tears back in the night.
But I've tried real hard to heal myself right.

I won't do the injustice to remember with dispair.
Instead I will let linger the warm feeling of your care.

I often gaze at a white swirling cloud.
I tell myself true, I must make you proud.

And so in your story I will not let erase.
I feel glimpses of your presence, there is a small trace.

There are so many things in this life that I fear.
And GOD knows I miss you my grandmother dear.

Yet together in a way our hearts remain bound.
For the gift you have left me I finally found.

Butterfly

She floats along a spiraling, intertwining trail.
With wingtips made of broken dreams increasingly frail.

She glides up high for all the world to see.
Her wings reflect every shade of color in every detailed degree.

The path she flies is wounded with the mists of despair.
But she ensues every moment unconsciously with threads of dare.

She flies with the remnants of shadowed yesterdays.
All around the atmosphere spirals shades of grays.

But through the wind she never waivers to left or to right.
Her journey glides relentless through the break of engrossing night.

Far beyond the maze of a dry and withered pit.
She carries fire of hope, it is her courage and her whit.

And even though one day her time will come to die.
Her legacy will continue far away to ever fly.

Because her dreams of love have been forever made.
And her eternal beauty of life shall never alter or fade.

I Will Follow

I'll be dressed in white today.
Shimmering high above it all.
There is no time to waste now.
If I lose my wings I will surely fall.

So I will follow my heart.

I'm gleaming with an amber light.
As the shadows crest the sky.
But within myself I start to find.
To all my darkest questions... I ask why?

So I will follow my heart.

My emotions move like the rolling waves.
They thrash quietly all around.
They break up into tiny little pieces,
For me to pick up off the ground.

So I will follow my heart.

I am in the dark lit room, don't know where to go.
Stumbling past deserted memories,
Spiraling forward, where I shall land I do not know.

So I will follow my heart.

Keeping it secure deep inside.
The only safe direction home,
Depends on what I choose as my guide.

So I will follow my heart.

Angel of Light

Fairest of all please release your light.
For my compass went dizzy.
Grace of me mercy and make my path bright.

I always seem to wander to far into night.
Lost again in the onset of shadow.
Bless for me beams of crystallized light.

I know I have created my own battle to fight.
But I can learn from my mistakes.
I will make what I have wronged turned right.

I do believe there is a chance I will fare.
I am a warrior of hope.
I have felt glimpses of your divine care.

The shadow presents itself like the glimmer of a mare.
Doubt the back breaking saddle.
The unlawful baggage for my soul to share.

Yet I hold to faith that I know I am able.
To carry this burden.
Please sweet mother shine for me stable.

You have hinted yourself with the smallest clue.
Now it's up to me.
I am the one to prove my heart true.

I have rode upon the deepest shade of night.
But my fair lady.
You lit up my hope, my angel of light.
