I Will Follow

I'll be dressed in white today. Shimmering high above it all. There is no time to waste now. If I lose my wings I will surely fall. So I will follow my heart. I'm gleaming with an amber light. As the shadows crest the sky. But within myself I start to find. To all my darkest questions... I ask why? So I will follow my heart. My emotions move like the rolling waves. They thrash quietly all around. They break up into tiny little pieces, For me to pick up off the ground. So I will follow my heart. I am in the dark lit room, don't know where to go. Stumbling past deserted memories, Spiraling forward, where I shall land I do not know. So I will follow my heart. Keeping it secure deep inside. The only safe direction home, Depends on what I choose as my guide. So I will follow my heart.
