leave me alone

might burnout
could crashout
just kinda tired
not really feelin’ wired

just a little annoying bug
it’s strange, just shrug
both of us are
could add more

nevermind, there’s nothing left to write
wouldn’t like you if i didn’t love you

no, seriously
just stop

shut up

leave me alone

i'm pretty down bad aren’t i?

spaghetti

i sat down
at a table,
and
i picked
up my
fork.

the fork had
several noodles
with
sauce wrapped tightly
around
it,
but when
i picked
it up,
they slid away
into
the dark abyss.

Resistance

The wind howls loudly,
And they parade proudly.

What is true?
How would I make something out of you?

Offer some resistance!
Take your stance!

Why would you increase your skill,
But to increase your will?

They won’t go with your flow,
So put on a fantastic show!

Gavin, Help Me

Gavin, help me.
Your innocence is coveted now, you see.
I’ve fallen for this girl.
She’s got hearts in a wild twirl.

Noah, help me.
This courage runs away through the trees.
I’ve fallen for this girl;
Now she’s the only valuable pearl.

Jacob, help me.
Could use your shoulder to lean.
I’ve fallen for this girl,
While searching for her like a URL.

Jefferson, help me.
Still need the knowledge to an extended degree.
I’ve fallen for this girl,
But she makes it so hard to uncurl.

Matthew, help me.
When do we act? What’s the key?
I’ve fallen for this girl.
Right timing isn’t something you can feel.

Lily, help me.
You and your insights know how this works.
I’ve fallen for this girl.
Oughta give this a whirl.

Dominic, help me.
Care to offer a little wisdom to thee?
I’ve fallen for this girl,
Now it’s hard to see her as someone real.

Gia, help me.
Your lightheartedness is like the calming sea.
I’ve fallen for this girl,
And she might just cause a furl.

Jace, help me.
Acceptance is required to escape the scree.
I’ve fallen for this girl,
But the need to be grounded lies at the heel.

Christian, help me.
You could always create a perfect concord.
I’ve fallen for this girl,
Her loveliness could turn almost anyone into a squirrel.

Guiliano, help me.
How does one become worthy of wonderful Capri?
I’ve fallen for this girl,
And holiness is the thing to win her laurel.

Cole, help me.
This passion didn’t have you pay a rupee.
I’ve fallen for this girl.
Just need a little zeal.

Tyler, help me.
Now there’s panicking.
I’ve fallen for this girl,
But your grit can help get through it all.

Whisper

Hear a Zephyr,
A Whisper.

Nothing lasts through eternity.

Except for a Zephyr,
A Whisper.

Confusingly, they don’t want to see.

Block out the Zephyr,
The Whisper.

Why do they focus on what will no longer be?

When the Walls Were Red

I remember when the walls were red.
Not a single person was dead.
The room was big and wide,
And it was so easy to confide.

I lived in cabin seven.
Jacque called it Heaven.
I never thought I’d forget.
It’s like we never met.

Now the walls are no longer red.
My old friends might as well be dead.
The rooms are so small and white,
And the air feels so tight.

Now I stay in eleven.
I just can’t connect with Kevin
Their calls still echo through these halls.
I’m constricted by these new walls.

Upside!

Maybe it’s time I spoke my mind.
Tell me, what’s the punchline?
The world is upside down.
So my smile becomes a frown.

Spending these dark nights
Alone, under these streetlights
With a plate of alfredo.
I sleep without you.

My friend is gone to Pennsylvania,
The rest drifted away.
I’m in love. It’s mania.
Wish it would stay this way.

Too late, you're a creep.
Pawned, manipulated by one.
You drove away the rest.
You gave everything but the best.

Everything is falling out of scheme.
Lines
Are breaking out of place.
Shattered.

Interactions flew by today.
The world is grey.
Day by day,
“Let’s play the funny guy.”

Let’s look at the upside.
Will you be my guide?
I’ve run out of ash and string,
And I’ve burned everything.

Comfortable Arrows

Away from alleys, muggers don sombreros.
So sharp, so twisting, they’re like arrows.
The target never narrows.

Sneaking, dancing through the night,
Arrows never cause a fright.
They steal every light.

Not one is safe; they’re everywhere.
Look around for their snare.
Don’t say your cross is too much to bear.

Are you too blind to see?
The answer is in front of me.
I will never be set free.

Little to Know

I feel like a creep.
I feel like a monster.
What have I done?
Where am I going to?

Am I a creep?
Am I a monster?
Where have I come from?
Where have I gone?

Maybe I’m a creep.
Maybe I’m a monster.
Now I have to decide
What I’m doing here.

Flowers are underfoot.
I’ve found a path.
I’m not sure if they’re dying,
Or if I am.

Ocean Aficionado

Truthfully,
I struggle to be free.
Unbearably,
Some strive to see a sinking sea.

Anger wraps around my shoulder.
I pray; I don’t get bolder.
The world, estranged, keeps getting colder.
It’s been forever; I’m still a sailor.

Curiously,
I’ve been chained in eternity.
Amazingly,
They die in an ocean of uncertainty.

Sails descend upon my shoulder.
I pray I won’t get bolder.
The world, afflicted, stares in wonder.
It’ll be forever; I’ll be a sailor.
