Ordinary thoughts

I did not see you today
But I imagined you,
With my thought,
With my eyes,
With my skin,
You were here.
I would want you
To look at me as usual
To use you eyes as a mirror,
And see myself and how beautiful I am.

Something sad

It hasn't rained for a long time,
I am in a desert.
Prisoner of my own mind,
In the unknown,
Searching for loneliness,
When you live with the idea that
suffering is a feeling
You try to go there
To feel alive.

Deja vu

Have you ever seen a peony under a candle light?
It makes the space mystical.
A safe enchanted heaven.
I feel that I was here before
Back in another time,
Back in a different century,
When people believed in magic.
Then we were together
you kissed my forehead while I was reading my book,
Paradiso by Dante.
You we were looking at me like I was a precious jewel,
A jewel that you would never want to lose,
Something you bury with you,
Because it is a part of you.
You were looking at me like I was the one
The one that brings light into your life.

Chameleon

To the moon and back
Like the song,
I struggled to survive this.
Lost myself while trying
To fit in, to alter,
Changing my human skin
To a chameleon skin.
Not to shine.
Not to stand out.
Not to be too much.
Lost myself in my attempt
To be less.

Silence

Silence today
between us,
Silence in the room,
Noise in the heart.
I must admit!
Under a full moon
I think of you
and wonder...
How everything is more intense
In silence.
