Blue Bird

She flew towards me
A pretty bluebird
Warbling her love

A call of passion

Her hearts desire
Beseeched freedom
As she flies
A marvel in the sky

She lands on me
Takes me by surprise

A pretty bluebird

Chels

Soft as the nights darkness
The speckle in your eye
Those pretty blues
Who wouldn’t choose

Flaxen hair in the air
A beauty that shimmers in the sun
Skin illuminated by the light
So pure and bright

Love filled with such promise
A promise for life
Here today and tomorrow
Forever together
Hitched at the soul

Love combined with such greatness
Souls intertwined as one
A compatibility matched to none
She is the one

Forever Lonesome

Yearning for what once was
Take me to a time of love that once was
A simpler time just me and you
Sitting under the sun
Daisies a few
Mildew a plenty
Rivers flowing free without any envy
Do you yearn for what once was?
A time and a place just because
Love the way I love
It seems too much
Well for you anyways
Beaten down and haggard
The soul is tired
So much love to give
Disregarded just because
You blame me for my love
The love given to you
So carefree and willing
To my lonesome grave I go

Dark

Dark is the light in us all
Death destruction and poverty consumes all
But there is a light
A light so bright
A light in us all

In a world full of complexities
The light seems to fade
Humanity in such disdain
The heartless scorn which mourns
There is a light for all

Do you go towards the light?
Be it the bitter end or a new beginning
A void or paradise
Complacency takes his stride
Are we worthy?

I speak for all
As the darkness begins to fall
There is a bird that takes flight
Is it a symbol of hope?
Or just another one’s demise?
