Until Death Do Us Apart

I want to run away
But have got no way out of here
I want to just sit ‘n’ cry
But have got all my tears frozen
I want to endlessly smile
But…… just got no reason.

I want to dance like no one's watching
But there’s no melody I hear
I want to sing the songs of my heart
But there's deafening silence echoing in my soul.
I want to be cold ‘n’ numb
But……the monster in me just won't let me.

I want to stay here forever
But the world won’t let me.
I want to cry my eyes out and confess my love,
But you aren’t here to hear me.

I want to love you till death do us apart.

But
death
has
already
done
us
apart...

And with losing you, I have lost myself too.

Touch

Featherlight touches
Fluttering kisses
Thudding heartbeats
One look
One gasp
A million desires erupt.

More

I know what you mean
But it doesnt hurt any less
I wished you were more.

Empty

I am so empty right now
That I have nothing to offer.

I am so alone right now
That in my company;
even loneliness would suffer.

There was a time
I was so full of life
That being with me was a promise
To forget your strife.

Sitting at the other end of the spectrum, I see
The silence I sought all my life
Is itching to now scream.

I am bull-headed; stubborn
I won't let my tormentors out of sight

But I am so miserably broken
That I don't have it in me to fight.

Black Soul

Colour my soul black,
Tonight with your hatred,
Colour my rose black,
Tonight with your fate!

You were the rainbow,
I looked up to
You were the light;
the hope I clinged to!

Colour my dreams black,
Tonight with your brutality,
Colour my hope black,
Tonight with your insanity!

I loved you,
I cared for you,
I sacrificed myself for you.

But you broke my trust,
You stole my beliefs,
You butchered my faith,
And threw me off your life!

You coloured my days;
With unending darkness,
You coloured my life;
With endless despairs!

Weapons

I do not need fire
To burn you down.
I do not need a sword
To cut you down.

My words are my weapon
They are potent enough.

I do not need claws
To leave bleeding wounds.
Nor sharp teeth
To bite & mark you as my own.

My silent treatment is my weapon
And it's potent enough.

My intentions are cloaked
&
My apologies calculated.

My steps are pre planned
&
My words well measured.

I don't need bullets
To make you compliant

My fake smile & practised tears are my allies
And they are potent enough.

Forever

I no longer want a forever
Forever is a beautiful lie.
All there really is, is the now
The now we casually let go by.

I no longer want just words
Just words not backed up with actions are a facade
Show me what you mean
Else walk away or I will & end the charade.

I no longer want everything
Everything is an impossible dream
All who come in our orbit; bring something to the table
And that something is enough; even if that's now how it may seem.

I no longer want flowers
As beautiful as they are, they wither away
I will plant my own garden
A garden that will always brighten my way.

I no longer want to be an option
I want to be a choice
A choice made again & again, every time
I want to be desired, wanted, and needed, but mostly... chosen!
