My Love

On the mountain tops will I scream her name,
A choir of birds will I give her praise to sing,
I will let the winds carry far her fame,
Her beauty will I compare to the daffodils in spring,
My love, dark as chocolate, yet lovely.
Her hair, long and silky like fine cords in Solomon’s temple,
Her smell, irresistible like a garden of roses in Sicily,
Oh, her voice, smooth like running waters o’er a pebble,
In her eyes live the brightest stars,
Her smile defeats a million radars,
The chambers of her heart are made of pure gold,
And out of it great treasures unfold.

Her love is my song that never stops playing,
Her love is my river that never stops flowing.

Cat Purrs To Haiku

You never feed me.
Perhaps I'll sleep on your face.
That will show you.

You must scratch me there!
Yes, above my tail! Behold,
elevator butt.

I need a new toy.
Tail of black dog keeps good time.
Pounce! good dog! good dog!

The rule for today.
Touch my tail, I shred your hand.
New rule tomorrow.

In deep sleep hear sound
Cat vomit hairball somewhere.
Will find in morning.

Grace personified
I leap into the window
I meant to do that

Blur of motion, then-
Silence, me, a paper bag
What is so funny?

The mighty hunter
Returns with gifts of plump birds
Your foot just squashed one.

You're always typing
Well, let's see you ignore my
Sitting on your hands.

My small cardboard box
You cannot see me if I
Can just hide my head.

Terrible battle
I fought for hours. Come and see!
What's a "term paper"?

Kitty likes plastic
Confuses for litter box
Don't leave tarp around

Small brave carnivores
Kill pine cones and mosquitoes
Fear vacuum cleaner

Want to trim my claws
Don't even think about it!
My yelps will wake the dead

I want to be close
To you. Can I fit my head
inside your armpit?

Wanna go outside.
Oh, no! Help! I got outside!
Let me back inside!

Oh no! Big One
has been trapped by newspaper.
Cat to the rescue!

Humans are so strange.
Mine lies still in the bed, then screams!
My claws aren't that sharp....

Cats meow out of angst
"Thumbs! If only we had thumbs!
We could break so much"

Litter box not there
You must have moved it again
I'll crap in the sink

The Big Ones snore now
Every room is dark and cold
time for "Cup Hockey"

We're almost equals
I purr to show I love you
Want to smell my butt

Betrayed

I sought to be true
true to myself
and true to the guiding hands
that affirmed me
The time has come to bear
the accusation of betrayal
to not betray my own soul
Is this now my test?
My lesson?
I hear names hurled at me
that I once thought belonged
only to the loathsome
I hear that I have
no heart
no honor
no shame
no decency
no respect
no faith
I hear that
I am not trustworthy
I am not honest
I am not considerate
I am injurious
I am selfish
these names
these accusations
they ring in my ears
and sicken my heart
for I wanted only to uplift
to heal
not to hurt
but I have learned
that hurt
can be caused in the name
of saving pain
this I have done
but never again
I live to grow
but I am not perfect
nor do I desire perfection
I listen
to the lessons in the wind
I transform
the pain of the past to light
I seek to free my soul
unite my heart and mind
For so very long
I looked outside myself for truth
but the journey has returned to me
The child, the warrior
The nurturer, the sage
I walk a new path
Those who wish to stay behind
and hurl stones of accusation
I am traveling beyond your reach
rising above the density
never to return

Nothingness

Nothing in the waking which you have
Envisaged by some pout
Worse if the laugh shakes
Your wing on pillows

Equally drowse
Without fear which a breath confesses
Nothing in the waking which you have
Envisaged by some pout

All filled with wonder dreams
When this beauty outmanoeuvres them
Produce flower on the cheek
In the eye unpaid diamonds
Nothing in the waking which you have

Best Way To Fall

At the birth of my heart
Fireworks and butterflies
Hot blood and fever

But doctor said its not a strain
But a common game
For Adam and Eve
Cane and Abel

For every body falls;
My pastor, my teacher
My tailor and you

Not in the ditch
But in LOVE
And its not how many times you fall
But how deep and how well

For the first time in our lives,
We all want to fall and not to rise
Never, again...fall in love

Strength

It takes strength to be certain,
It takes courage to have doubts.

It takes strength to fit in,
It takes courage to stand out.

It takes strength to share a friend's pain,
It takes courage to feel your own pain.

It takes strength to hide your own pain,
It takes courage to show it and deal with it.

It takes strength to stand guard,
It takes courage to let down your guard.

It takes strength to conquer,
It takes courage to surrender.

It takes strength to endure abuse,
It takes courage to stop it.

It takes strength to stand alone,
It takes courage to lean on a friend.

It takes strength to love,
It takes courage to beloved.

It takes strength to survive,
It takes courage to live.

If

If i were a bird
I will fly on my wings,
To the highest mountain,
To the deepest plain.
With my wings
I will soar,
Till i can soar no more.
                        if i were a fish,
I will swim with my fins,
To the deepest part of the ocean,
To the deepest part of the sea.
With my fins,
I will explore the beauty of the waters, until there is nothing left to see.
                        if i were a star,
I will let my light shine,
Lighting every part of the world,
Lighting every part of the universe.
With my light,
I will light up the darkness in your hearts.
But am only human.
With my flaws and shortcomings.
I am not a bird.
I am not a fish,
Neither am i a star.
I cannot fly on wings like a bird.
I cannot swim with fins like a fish.
I cannot light up the world like a star.
But i have love in my heart, and with that i can change the world.
I have you close to my heart, even if you are thousand miles far away
Even if my love for you, you never returned
If i was to make a dream come true...
I will make a dream of being with you come true
A dream that can never come to fulfillment
Love came first
Love that betrayed
Love that can never be...
