Dear Love

Love, you fickle, flick'ring flame,
You emissary of insanity!
You wondrous, senseless heaven,
Oh, you sweet oblivion.
I lose myself inside your storm
And raging storm of chaos.
In swollen waves of ecstasy,
I let you carry me.
Don't question your decision,
Nor master your direction.
I follow blindly:
Take me where your reckless plan desires!

You cruel and glorious thing,
You gloat your vict'ry by my heart.
Which wept an laughed at once
When you did rear your pretty head.
And carelessly rejoiced,
For love, your poison is so sweet..

And even if I shall depart,
My mouth will not forget the taste.
I'll savor every lovely kiss,
As well as every tear.
Hold fast to ev'ry memory
Of bitter breaking loss.
And ev'ry passionate muse
That met me on new golden shores.

Love, I am all yours to keep,
But I am yours to suffer.
I lower my defenses
But, do be gentle just this once

I Miss Your Everything

Quite simply, I miss you.
I miss your....
                everything.

I miss your 'almost-smile', I miss the warmth that it would bring.
I miss the way you laugh and I miss the way you sing.
I miss the way you look at me, like there was only me.
I miss the nervous way you'd try to hide your nervous smile.

I miss the way you held me, like you're never letting go...

I miss you everyday and every minute of my hour.
And pride is wilting, fading, like the petals of a flower.

All I want to do now is forget the hurt that passed.
I want to stow away the petty words that I said last.

And I'll take your everything, I'll take your stupid and your smart.
I'll take your ugly and your pretty, old-junk you're hawking on your cart.

I'll say that "I forgive you" half a million tired times.
I'll say "I'm sorry", pleading, for my coronary crimes.

I know that all I want is to be close to where 'thou art'.
I miss you oh so, oh so much the second that we part.

I say these things en lieu of what the simplest words relay:
Cos simply, yes, I miss you.
And how, how, I miss your everything.

Edge

Dig me up from underneath
Im walking on a ledge,
hang ten over the edge
the edge of a thread,
In the Dark of my head

Talk me down
Talk me down

Pour in clean clarity,
Dispel the emo parody
A hand held out, to pull me out
To lead my on another route

Call out your name
and i remember
a flick'ring ember.
Call it hope
a hanging rope
not a noose
a boost
to get to you.
You pull me through

This is your name.
This is your fame;
to make a way
through all this gray,
To talk me down the jagged edge
Talk me down
Talk me down

Kiss

Hot. Sweet. Stolen
Lovely little moment
Taste it in a breath

Glow

Otherworldly Glow
Gentle waves and pretty skies
Stark bright, pearly shore

A Bad Romeo

I love you, truly. That is that.
I'd kill for you, I'd eat a bat!
You are my morning and my dusk
Without you I'm a hollow husk.

Hold! wipe away your joyful tear
As I must make on thing quite clear
I'm sure you have your hopes set high
That, dear, for you I'd eas`ly die

I fear to break your sweet, sweet heart
I'll prick it, slightly. With a dart
Reality is this right here:
Death is, well, my BIGGEST fear.

What lies across the great beyond
`s a thought of which I am not fond
Thus begs the thought, "Why would I leap
for one fair girl, it's much too steep!"

Call me yellow, call me Macbeth
But in MY play there'll be no death!
If grief tells you to take your life
You'll be alone `n your noble strife

My shadow won't be close behind
Do NOT expect to make a find
Fair Juliet, do not be sad
Your Romeo, alas, is bad.

Live Life Living

Lay on the grass, breathe deeply
Imagination's peace
Very often make the choice
Even when you're scared

Lick a frozen lamp post
It will make you young
Fly across the world
Enjoy airsickness too

Love the one that hates you
Invite a stranger over
Voice every thought you fathom
It's better that than silence
Next when you walk outside
Give all you have and live

Monologue By Addi C.T Ion

Penny for your ino-'cents'
Lure you to the dark side
Take a wiff off ecstasy
While I hook you like a kipper

I sell it easy, Sweetness,
You will not know you're buying
Until you're sitting in my palm
A-begging for some more

Look me in the eye, FreshMeat
Swear to me you're had enough
And I will laugh, pure mockery
Your words aren't worth a damn thing when actions scream out their consent

Your mind is like my instrument
I'll play until the strings snap clean
You say "no", but it says "go"
You scream "Stop, don't" it cries "DON'T STOP!"

You seem upset and ragged, down
Let me remind you how I won..
You took the rope... you bound your limbs
Said, "Just one hit? Won't hurt a bit."

Hurt much?
hurt much.....
..........hurtmuch
Oh, I bet it do

Think

What comes from your lips but condemnation?
Accusation, half-baked assumption?
For your words are of no worth to she
Whose dreams are full of what could be and
what should have

You who judges thoughtlessly
with ease. So very carelessly
scream slurs that sneak and masquerade
as sighs of "sorry" and "don't worry."

On what earth do you live
and what world do you see,
where your sin tells her sin it does not fit in?
Where your scar tells her scar it's uglier by far?

The fruit of ignorance is intolerance
We're a catastrophic generation
of a metaphorical "mass de-globalization"
Running backwards from lack of understanding
Bred from lack of wanting to,
bred from lack of trying.

Compassion is artillery
Humanity's a shield.
Love's a cure
and scowls are fewer
when we stop and THINK
to change the way we are.

Lesson Learned

Pain is not love’s enemy
As I’ve constant-ly believed
They’re brothers. They’re, Fratelli
Where one resides, the other strives

Oh, what a dream it was to think,
That our ol’ cruise ship will not sink
The pretty clouds I floated on
Were laced with pins and things so sharp
Sharp enough to pierce the dream, that it could be reality

How was I to know you weren’t, that angel you professed to be?
How was I to stop myself, you were my pre-cise ecstasy?

My lesson’s learnt, now, Casanova.
Thought-that you-could turn me over?
Oh no.
No, no no.
You fooled me once so shame on you

Your beauty was an ugly thing
A snare produced for fools like me
And, those eyes...
Mmmm... that voice.
If honey could speak, you’d be it. Hands down
Sweet, sultry serenade,
Fairest features ever made.

You were such a masterpiece.
A Monet, if you please
Master of disguise, oh yes
I should commend your flawless lies,
They had me twisted round your pinky
Glad that I now know you baby.
Read your book from, ah back to front.

Next time that-I see your face, I’ll see the snarling, stalking thing
The thing that led me down this lane.
The thing that tuned my love to pain
