God's Greatest Creation

is it her hypnotiq eyes she sees through
that lets me know her presence is true

or could it be her chocolate complexion
that kept me in her direction

maybe its her voluptuous physique
that made me smile from cheek to cheek

i think its her blinding smile
that warmed my heart like a newborn child

it could be her silky hair
which flows beautifully in the springtime air

i've searched for this girl from nation to nation
this has to be God's greatest creation

Chocolate High

they say any addiction isn't gud and maybe my downfall
but this addiction i am not worried about at all

my addiction to ur chocolate high is stronger than any drug or fedimine
in which no detox lab or rehab center can intervine

the taste of it is sweeter than any thing i've ever tasted
others still fail in comparison to the sweetness of this metaphorical pastry

without the taste of it i break out in cold sweats and body aches
for it i have no limits no boundaries jus to get a taste

the calling of this drug is one call i jus cant deny
i will forever be addicted to ur chocolate high

Poetically Insane

what some call insane, i call mental creativity
while some stay normal, i chose to plead insanity

to be normal is confinement of the mind
to be insane is true freedom of the mind

my insanity can be shown in many ways
by various actions or words on a page

my words alone can show you mental freedom
as i let u into my mind, the real insane asylum

my creativity goes beyond human sight
my words cut deeper than a thief in the night

my poetry leaves people sick in the brain
so most would call me poetically insane

Category F-5

the f-scale is used to describethe damage of twisters ranging from lite to devastating
my f-scale is different, describing results ranging from lite to mesmerizing

most twisters jus cause pain and suffering
but my twister causes moaning and studdering

a twister brings rain and all wetness of the earth
but the wetness cause, shows a completely different worth

a twister is seen as jus wind in a twisting motion
the tongue twister is similar, but only its my tongue goin in the same motion

the ending result of my twister leaves wetness and changed lives
when it cums with the impact of a category f-5

Kayla Simone Shackelford

for every sickness and pain i endure
her presence and comfort is the only cure

for every rainy day and thunderstorm that comes through
jus knowin that shes by my side is enough to get me through

for every flaw and short-coming that appears in me
shes provides the true perfection that completes me

for every cloud that seems to blur my vision
she is the ray of sunshine that brightens my vision

for every question in which i cant find the answer
her relationship with GOD is what helps me find the answer

for everything im missing, she is my world
she is my true Kayla Simone Shackelford

Daydreamin'

when i thought about the title i didnt know what to write
should the first line be about this woman i like

maybe its about her hypnotiq eyes she sees through
that really lets me know her presence is true

or could it be about her caramel complexion
that always kept me in her direction

maybe its about her voluptuous physique
that made me smile from cheek to cheek

i think it may be about her blinding smile
that warmed my heart like a newborn child

it could be about her silky hair
which flows beautifully in the springtime air

i've sat here this whole time about this one girl, not thinkin
that i spent this whole jus daydreamin

Roadtrip

my first stop, her eyes, ignorin the road signs warning me that they hypnotise
but as i kept goin i would soon realise the hypnosis of her eyes would soon lead me to other
places other spaces before i reach my destination, which lead me to my second stop, her
lips, i shoulda known from the signs, but by the smoothness im obliged, to keep goin to see
what lies, ahead, makin my way down through the narrow road between Mt. Breasts which
were the most beautiful mountains i have ever seen, as i careen forward down to her belly
button and take a detour to a smooth curve around her hips leading down to her thighs but
as i proceed forward i reach a no trespassing sign and forced to make a U turn back to her
head and i notice a tunnel in her eyes in which i travel through, to go deeper into, my
destination true, the mind, to see the true beauty that lies ahead, the sights that i have seen
still fail in comparison to the image of her dreams in which i travel in this never-ending
roadtrip

For You

For u i will be the one wit open arms when u have no one to run to
the same person who will be there to comfort and console u

for u i wll be that knight in shining armor to come to ur rescue
to be ur protector, the provider, and to love true

for u i will be the one to keep my God-given faith in
the man who will continue pray through thick and thin

for u i will continue to satisfy in every way possible
the same God-fearing person in which no task is impossible

for u im ready to give my heart and the best part of me
everything that makes me the best man i can be

for u in time i will be ready to share the God-given gift that keeps on giving
the gift of life in which unto us a child is given

all these things and more r promises made to unto u
promises i will not break to show my love for u

A River Made In Two Years

it starts off as a trickle slowly flowing
like a tear down the cheek and the pain is slowly growing

the trickle soon grows but not yet a stream
as the pain grows and the love was just a dream

a stream slowly forms and travels down the path
a path traveled by the heartbroken whose love is in the past

the stream slowly builds into a river finally flowing free
jus like the flowing river the heart is free to breath
