Never Got the Chance

~ You left me broken hearted, although I felt we never should have parted.

~ You were my first love just like a gift from above.

~ I thought you were the one I should be with and have fun.

~ But we never had the chance, not even for romance.

Good-Bye

~Tears ran down my face and onto my lips,
He gently wiped them away with his fingertips.

~I looked sadly into his dark brown eyes,
I tried really hard but could not muffle my cries.

~He held me tight in a strong embrace,
I rested my head on his chest and buried my face.

~Our last embrace ended with a sweet kiss,
There was so much about him I knew I would miss.

~As he walked away I wondered my fate,
With my only love in a faraway place.

Creeping

He creeps, she creeps, we all creep,
but we all regret sometimes when we sleep.

Passionate loving, caressing and kissing,
these are all the things, you and I are missing.

But what happens when it turns to love?
No one knows what to think of.

So keep it on the down low and go slow,
because you ain't a pimp, and she ain't no hoe!

Loss of Love

Never fall in love with a man who doesn’t love you
There is so much pain and heartache you end up going through.
Then again the men these days aren’t men, they are boys,
And they tend to think of woman as their play toys.
Women learn to sit back and take the pressure,
When they know deep inside they are beginning to love him lesser.
But for now the loss of love will be kept a secret,
For the simple fact she is comfortable with him and has learned to deal with it.

Holding On

~Five years together and you don’t look at me the same,
But I feel I’m not the one to blame.

~ I never asked where you were that night,
Before you left you’re the one who started the fight.

~ All the arguing and painful words you spoke to me so you had a reason not to come
home, when I called to make up you had shut off your cell phone.

~ I knew deep inside you were spending your time with someone else,
While I waited up all night you were out thinking only of yourself.

~ In the morning you came home telling me your phone battery died,
But you must have thought I was stupid and didn’t know whenever you lied.

~ I should have known better than to give love another try,
Because I left you and two years later I still can’t say good-bye.
