Holding On

~Five years together and you don’t look at me the same, But I feel I’m not the one to blame. ~ I never asked where you were that night, Before you left you’re the one who started the fight. ~ All the arguing and painful words you spoke to me so you had a reason not to come home, when I called to make up you had shut off your cell phone. ~ I knew deep inside you were spending your time with someone else, While I waited up all night you were out thinking only of yourself. ~ In the morning you came home telling me your phone battery died, But you must have thought I was stupid and didn’t know whenever you lied. ~ I should have known better than to give love another try, Because I left you and two years later I still can’t say good-bye.
