I Can'T Even Cry Anymore

I can't even cry anymore.
I don't even know why I care.
You destroy me from the inside,
What you do to me is not fair.

You cheat on me and call me names
And make me feel like shit.
You get mad at me and force me here,
Even though I want to split.

I don't know how I stand it here,
I am miserable every day.
I want to leave and be alone,
But yet I want to stay.

I am dieing from the inside.
My heart is fading fast.
I want to keep on loving you,
But I know that this won't last.

How can you say you love me?
Even look me in the eyes.
You look at me with a straight face
And then just spit out lies.

I don't deserve to be treated like this.
I really thought you cared.
We fight so much about nothing at all,
It often makes me scared.

I will always love you with all my heart,
But this is no way to live.
I need to get love in return.
I have too much to give.

You may not be attracted to me.
Sometimes I feel the same.
But you don't care about my feelings at all.
Your lack of respect is a shame.

I am finally going to change my mind.
I'm scared of whats to come.
I only know that I'm strong and smart
And you are not the one!

The Person Inside of Me

I guess I'm not important.
I guess I'm not that great.
Some people say I'm wonderful,
I look at them with hate.

I try really hard to believe them,
But their true colors always shine.
One minute I am fantastic,
The next minute they are blind.

They are blind to all my goodness,
My generosity and my heart.
I am one of the realest people,
That's what sets us apart.

Many people don't understand me.
It's sad they're missing out.
They would see all of my kindness,
That's what I am all about.

As Jesus said, "Forgive them Lord"
"They know not what they do".
They may not know they are hurting me,
It's very sad, but very true.

I do not wish any harm on them,
I just don't know what they think.
What is it that makes me so horrible?
My heart's beginning to sink.

How do I explain myself?
How do I get them to see?
To see the wonderful person,
The person inside of me.

Such fake smiles and kisses.
I see them look with phoniness.
I try not to give it back to them,
They should only know my loneliness.

Maybe I am neurotic and scared.
Maybe I come across wrong.
But it's the opposite of what they're thinking.
How do I stop my feelings from being so strong?

They think I'm bossy and pushy.
They think I stand too tall.
But in reality I am weak at heart.
They just don't know me at all.

My smiles are a cover up.
I am not happy with how I act.
I am trying my hardest right now.
More than I ever have in fact.

So how do I explain myself?
How do I get them to see?
See the wonderful person,
That person inside of me........

B

You know everything about me,
No matter what it may be.
My little quirks that annoy you
And yours that bother me.
We agree to disagree on things,
I guess thats not so bad.
Through all the good and hard times,
You're the best friend I ever had!
You know the things I like to do.
The games I like to play.
And when I'm feeling kind of blue,
You know just what to say.
You make me laugh all the time,
And you don't even have to try.
You don't even know how funny you are,
And this I'll tell you why.
When I'm with you, you are yourself.
You never act for me.
You always keep things very real.
You tell me how it should be.
You always have something to say.
Whether I'm gonna like it or not.
It doesn't matter at all to me,
Because I love you a lot!

Daddy

We fought a lot through all these years.
We often shared our troubling tears.
I'm just like you, so I've been told.
So stern and controlling, yet easy to hold.
We share a lot of things you see,
Me loving you and you loving me.

You always made people laugh and cry.
And this is because, I'll tell you why,
You joked all of the time, right place or wrong.
This is how you knew to be strong.
But your loving words would touch our hearts.
And even the good whiff of a fart.
This would just make your eyes fill,
Noone could tell that you were ill.

You were a fighter and a lover too.
Behind closed doors was where you were blue.
You stayed swinging for but too long,
We never really thought that you'd be gone.
"You have nine lives", is what people would say.
But really what helped, is that you would pray.
You suffered in pain in your body and mind,
But never had a problem with being so kind.

People may say you were hard to get along with,
But now I know it was just from being sick.
It took 29 years to the day to see this.
And I knew that this is what had to be fixed.
So we sat down and had a heart to heart.
Telling you how I felt from the start.
You told me how much you loved me and always did.
Even when I was bad as a kid.
We forgave each other and said what we felt.
Your hugs and your kisses just made me melt.

I'm sorry if I ever hurt you,
Just know that my words are all true.
I love you with all of my heart.
I knew I was your "Big Baby" from the start.

So it's time for you to go right now,
To say good-bye, I don't know how.

My Boy

You are the love of my life.
The sweetest little pea.
Where would I be without you?
I just wouldn’t be me!

You brighten every moment,
Of every single day.
I can’t imagine life without you.
Here’s what I have to say,

You are my sunshine,
You are my rain,
You bring me happiness,
You bring me pain.

You make me smile,
You make me cry,
You make me happy,
You make me high.

You bring me peace,
You bring me joy,
You make proud
That you’re my boy!

Sometimes when I look at you
I can’t help it but to cry,
You make my heart just melt inside
I feel like I could die!

I love to hold you in my arms
And kiss that little nose
I love to kiss those soft soft cheeks
And play piggy with your toes.

I prayed for you to come to me.
God knew I needed you so.
I promise to keep you safe
And never let you go!

You are my sunshine,
You are my rain,
You bring me happiness,
You bring me pain.

You make me smile,
You make me cry,
You make me happy,
You make me high.

You bring me peace,
You bring me joy,
You make proud
That you’re my boy!

I will always keep you protected.
I’ll never let you see,
Just how evil people are.
I’ll teach you how to be.

I’ll teach you how to be happy,
To be respectful and be kind.
By the time I am finished with you,
You’ll be one of a kind.

Control

Why do I get so angry?
I wanna hit you in the face!
I know it's not my position,
But I'd like to put you in your place.
My cheeks are getting red now,
My feelings I can not hide.
It will only be a moment before they come outside.
I try to hold them in my head.
"Take a second" I tell myself.
"Gently take your thoughts and lay them on the shelf".
My eyes are getting tighter,
I just don't know what to do.
I have to get control before I shoot my look at you.
My shoulders are getting heavy now,
My back is starting to straighten.
Be very careful, `cause in a moment
I can be very blatant.
It's not my fault at all you see,
I wish I had an answer.
I wish I knew what was wrong with me,
Each time it gets much faster.
The morbid and crazy things I feel,
The thoughts rush to my head.
I don't really mean what I am saying God,
But I often wish I were dead.
I want to stay here and live my life.
I'm trying to figure out how.
How do I control my feelings?
I have to learn right now.
