Oh So Lonely

I sit here.
I sit here on the floor and wonder,
Where are you?
I saw you this morn,
You rushed past me,
And i felt your leg,
As it brushed across my body,
And you ran for the door.

I am alone.
I have always been alone,
Since the day i was born,
Then placed in this home.
Torn,
Away from warmth and love.
But you!
You are my heart.
My best friend.
My saviour.
The one i adore.

But now where are you?
Your smell has been gone,
for far too long,
And as much as my tiny paws
Claw and claw,
I don't hear your footsteps anymore.

White Ash Winter

I stood watching the snow falling down
On the white ash man.
He did not care for cold or frost.
He was lost.
Lost in a world of his own
Thinking, thinking of his home
He was lost in a world of his own.
He was still and did not move
From the gloom of the ash sky.
All winter he watched the snow
Falling, falling until his problems were gone.

The ash man went home.

Indigo

I crash down on everything,
Calm at times
But a storm brews inside me.
I feel it deep within me.
I seem shallow at times,
Salty and harsh,
Bitter and sweet.
Summer transforms me.
Now cool and calm,
I shine and glitter,
Smooth, with a heart of glass.
I wash away my sins.

Snowstorm

At 7am i shiver.
Wrap myself tight in blankets,
And curl up in bed.
The sky is as dark as coal.
Outside the world is magic.
There is a sheen of white overlapping the darkness,
Ice white. Ice cold.
Everything enticing,
With sugar on top.
9am i wake again.
A pine tree is surrounded with paper,
Ripped and torn.
Children play at its feet,
Laughing, with big warm smiles.
The smell of cinnamon surrounds me,
And i feel joy in the air.
Softly in the distance,
I imagine a lullaby,
As i sit in the snowglobe of life.

Sentiments of Time

A flame
A flame burning day and night,
Night and day.
Always burning.
Turning and burning.
Always the same.
Yet...always a new flicker,
A new wind,
A new Light.
Changing always in the same image.
Dancing in the moonlight.
Swaying through time.
Burning brighter,
Than the highest star.
Hot as hell itself.
But now you burn,
Like the dawns first ray,
Fading, fading,
Until,
Finally,
The flame burns out.

Heartache/Lovers Confession

Vengeance!
Vengeance, Vengeance, Vengeance!
I thrash and scratch and run.
I ran as fast and far as possible,
Not even light could catch me.

Wrath, Oh wrath!
I wish to unleash you,
You are trapped in my heart.
I cannot release you.

Crying out,
I see a light on the horizon.
Your face in the distance,
All but a dream.

Heartbeats

I will not open out
My hollowed shell.
The pearl was cracked
Long ago.

The salty water still surrounds me.
Waves still crash down day by day.
A crack, an arrow,
All the same.

Wave after wave after wave after wave.
