I Just Want To Say I Love You

When I wake up every morning, I wish to see your face.
When I get home in the evening, I want you in my arms.
I wish to leave you presents and take unexpected trips.
I just want you to love me and to give my heart some peace.
For the love I want from you is forever and always.
I don’t know who you are and I feel I never will.
But I just want to say, “I love you” today.

My Worst Enemy

I am my own worst enemy.
My mind is a implement of self-destruction.
Capable of its own corruption.
Breaking out the tools of dismay.
Tearing me down in every way.
It's not here to have fun and play.
It makes me my own worst enemy.

Live For Sound

As the faucet drips and the wind chimes tink.
As the pendulum swings, I sit and think.
Such a wonderful God to give us sound.
It's something that makes the world go round.
From listening to ocean waves crash all day.
To laughing children enjoying the games they play.
So when you lay in bed to hear your house groan.
Thank God for sound, helping you feel a little less alone.

Hand Me a Cold One

parking my dairy air in my chair i couldn help but hear a scream of fear.
as i ignored it and poppin the top on my ice cold beer once again i hear.
i stand to confirm almost spillin my beer to discover what's under my rear.
my chair of course but somethin i have come to realize and to fear.
i discovered what i heard it seems absurd so i call my wife to hear.
my chair spoke askin for a beer before i go to park my rear.

Why?

why did you have to die?!
i can't believe i didn't cry!
you, that padded coffin, i want it a lie!
i managed to bring myself to sigh.
at least i had that one day for goodbye.

Unbreakable?

Tyranny thrust upon mine heart.
Yet hardened more by ruthless heartbreak.
Steel may never pierce my chest.
But must i be impervious to love?

Used and Abused

Am I just something provided if you lean?
How do you think I want to be seen?
Short I am but is there need for such scrutiny?
I just want to be loved can you see?
Leave me alone, just let me be.
I guess it will always just be me.

The Man In the Moon

The man in the moon is so high he feels no need to cry.
In space his special place he hears not a single lie.

He left one day to forget leaving mother earth behind.
Only to get there and stay after clearing his distraught mind.

You see his heart is broken leaving him completely numb.
His heart was shattered and all that's left no bigger than a crumb.

Hurt by a girl who stole his love and tossed it when she was through.
So now you know the man in the moon why he's so sad and blue.

"broken" Tears

Tears filled my eyes, hope completely abandoned.
Miserable must i be cursed love?!
Your wrong doing stains me of my own blood.
Thrusting its steel blade into my heart.
I feel no more, bleeding out my soul.
Fear is my love will never be felt again.

-To you that remember what my love once
was of which it is no more.

Who Am I?

Why do I feel so selfish?
Why do I feel so guilty?
Why do I feel so angry?
Why do i feel so sad?
Just because I am human?!
What makes others think they understand?
No one knows who I am!
I don't know who I am....
Who am I?....
