He Knows Love

He was standing over there, up against the wall. At least six feet tall. And he loves
to play ball, especially in the fall. When the leaves are auburn and green; where the
tree's are calm and serene. He's a sight to see w/his muscular physique, and pretty
teeth. With eyes of intoxication, and mounds of soft curly black hair. That'll make you
stare and forget you're name. But you don't know the pain he's felt, and the harsh
words that were dealt. You don't know the rain and thunder he's been under; that won't
let go of him, that has a hold on him. So he smiles to cover up the insides' that slowly
making him die. But he's fighting the fight, to make things right. So he may be
allright. He doesn't want to go down the road of pain and sorrow that'll bruise you're
tommorows. He wants to forgive, so he can live. He wants to be their to repair and
love; with angels smiling from up above. He wants to feel and be felt. He wants to touch
and be held. He wants to experience all that he's missed. Especially a loving hug and
kiss, from someone whom he missed. And share his wear and tears of the day. All he
wants is to be okay. So he may have brighter days and bluer nights, with stars in the
sky. With the look of love in his eyes, and his heart is just fine.

That Guy

He's the kind of guy your mama warned you about; he a bad boy. With
his dashing good looks and thuggish charms, you know you want to hold him in your arms.
He's an educated, street-smart brotha; a lovah like no otha. He's searching for more
than just a casual fling; he wants you know the real thing. With his butterscotch skin
and chocolate brown eyes, he wants you by his side. He doesn't ask for much, just a
freaky touch to show him you care that will let him know you'll always be there. When
he's down and out and needs a hug, dont turn him away, show him love. He's a king
seeking a queen, to hold high above the rest. It may be you, to pass the test. Don't
wait until the water runs dry; it may be you with tears in your eye. So take time to
give love, not just physical; but mental and spiritual. And in return, he'll give you
the love you deserve.

Seasons

For some reason
Our seasons keep repeating
We met in the spring, filled with flings.
 Come Autumn you were gone.
I worried and looked for you in the Fall,
Hoping you’d appear but you disappeared. In to Winter
Lost in the fog, It rained for quite some time, I thought
I did everything rite, I thought you would fight,
for the sun, to keep shining,
But it was blinding, like a flame

That wouldn’t blow out
The seasons changed and then u came
Things are still the same nothing new.
I thought fall taught you
I thought winter changed you
I thought Spring would make you see
We just weren’t meant to be
 So let me go,
Find a new reason to believe in…
So I can have a new season

Unanswered In the Dark

After the lights gone down and none's around, i think of you. And all we used to do. You
had me and i was there. I fell into your trap, but all you did was laugh, like i was a
joke. But i was filled with hope; that you were different like a spring breeze in the
air, but i choked on despair. I couldn't figure it out, with feelings of delf-doubt. And
i tried to shake it out and let you go, but you won't, you won't just go! I heard that
song on the radio that you like so much, and it made me miss your touch; and the way
you smiled, that could go on for miles and miles. And then all of a sudden; i felt the
pang of shock! That i fell for an illusion that i wanted to turn into reality, but you
casually slipped into the dark. That left a stain on my heart. With questions'
unanswered, that felt like a dagger missing it's mark.

Rehab Part One

Uh oh! It's that time again! Guess who's back? With all her things neatly packed. But
her mind is out of wack, and dissarayed. But the ? is... Will she go back? She comes
here 3 or 4 times out of the year, to be with the ones who hold her dear. And have her
back. They are her sister's; her sister's, who got it like that!

So they laugh and conversate, with good food on their plate. And she states, she wants
to make a change. But feels it's out of range. And she's scared not to look back, with
all the things that once had her on track. That wants to be left behind, but the time
keeps passing by, and she's still there. Despertley trying... trying to get out of
there. But she can't cause she feel's trapped.
