You let me take the burden and now you resent me

In the realm of shadows, where secrets reside,
A tale unfolds, of joy and pain combined.
A burden so heavy, upon thy weary soul,
Where once you leaned, now resentment uncontrolled.

Oh, life's cruel twists, like thorns on a rose,
Piercing the heart, where affection once flows.
You placed upon my shoulders, your worries untold,
And now, dear friend, your gratitude turned cold.

I stood there beside you, a pillar of might,
Shouldering the weight, through day and night.
Your troubles were mine, as I so willingly shared,
Yet now you recoil, as if I never cared.

But listen, dear comrade, to the whispers of truth,
For beneath this facade lies a love tried and true.
I bore your burdens, with patience and grace,
Hoping that one day, a smile would grace your face.

Now, resentment may cloud your judgment, it's true,
But my commitment remains unwavering, for you.
I vowed to be there, when darkness loomed near,
To lend you my ear, wipe away every tear.

The journey we've taken, together entwined,
Through storms and tempests, our spirits aligned.
I embraced your challenges, your hopes and despair,
And though you resent me now, I still truly care.

For friendship is not measured by favors repaid,
But in the moments we share, both light and shade.
So let not resentment sow seeds of disdain,
Let's mend these fractures, and rebuild love's terrain.

With gentle persistence, I'll weather this storm,
For deep within, I know your heart's still warm.
You let me take the burden, your trust you did lend,
And together we'll heal, as dear friends till the end.

Winds of Change

In life's tapestry, change weaves its threads,
An inevitable dance with time it treads,
Transforming landscapes with its tender touch,
Whispering secrets that have mattered much.

Like a gentle breeze on a summer's day,
Change softly emerges, in its quiet way,
Caressing our senses, nudging us forward,
Guiding us through the paths we must traverse.

Sometimes change arrives like thunder's roar,
Shaking foundations we thought were secure,
Rumbling through our lives with mighty force,
Awakening dormant dreams, changing our course.

Change wears many faces, both old and new,
Revealing hidden truths we never knew,
It beckons us to embrace the unknown,
To let go of what was, to welcome what's grown.

Change is the artist who paints our fate,
Blending colors of joy and sorrow, love and hate,
Masterfully creating each masterpiece,
Crafting our stories, making them increase.

For without change, life would stagnate,
It is the catalyst, the key to recreate,
It urges us to grow, to reach new heights,
To embrace the challenges, to face our fears in flight.

So let us not fear the winds of change,
For they bring opportunities within their range,
They push us to evolve, to become more,
To unleash the potential we hold deep at our core.

Embrace change's gifts with open arms,
For in its embrace, true transformation charms,
Let us dance with change, in rhythm and rhyme,
Embracing the ebb and flow of life's grand design.

What do i have to show for it?

What do I have to show for it, you ask me?
A life filled with moments, both bright and free.
memories of laughter, tears, and glee.
A collection of stories, each one a spree.

I have the scars of love, the marks of time,
The lessons learned, the wisdom that's divine.
I have the dreams that I dared to chase,
The triumphs and the failures, in their place.

I have the friends who stood by my side,
The ones who laughed and cried with me, and bide.
I have the memories of sunsets and sunrises,
The moments that made my heart sing and rise.

I have the love that I've known and felt,
The joy that I've tasted, the pain that I've dealt.
I have the stories of my life, so far,
The journey that I've taken, the paths that I've star.

So, what do I have to show for it all?
A heart that's full, a soul that's tall.
A life that's lived, a story to tell,
A collection of moments, each one swell.

Solitude in the Shadows

In a world bustling with noise and drone,
Where many voices merge into a single tone,
There walks a solitary figure, unseen,
Lost in the shadows, an outsider's scene.

Amidst the crowd, she stands alone,
Her heart's rhythm beating on its own,
The bustling masses blur together,
But she remains detached, no bond to tether.

Like a star against the midnight sky,
She shines bright, catching every eye,
Yet her luminescence only highlights,
The emptiness within, the endless nights.

A solitary soul, seeking connection,
In a sea of faces lacking affection,
She longs for a touch, a gentle hand,
To pull her from this vast, desolate land.

But fate has dealt a solitary card,
Her heart's desires ever barred,
For in this crowded world, she's meant to be,
The epitome of solitariness, she sees.

And yet, in her solitude, there lies strength,
A resilience born from the trials at length,
She finds peace in her quiet contemplation,
Amidst chaotic waves, finding liberation.

For in the depths of her soul's abyss,
She discovers treasures she would never miss,
She learns to cherish her own company,
And embraces the beauty in her solitary decree.

Though she may be single in a crowded throng,
Her spirit soars high, forever strong,
For beneath her somber exterior's shroud,
She finds solace, embracing the silent cloud.

In the ebb and flow of life's changing tide,
In her solitude, she will savor the ride,
For even though she walks alone,
Her heart's melody echoes, becoming her own.

So let her wander in this world unknown,
A single flame in a sea of stone,
For in her solitude, she finds her grace,
A gentle reminder of life's endless chase.

Inhumane humanity

In the depths of mankind's twisted soul,
Lies a darkness that takes its toll,
For in the face of our humanity,
Lurks a beast, consumed with inhumanity.

It prowls the shadows, devoid of grace,
A predator, with a savage embrace,
And we, the witnesses to its wretched might,
Fearfully tremble in the pale moonlight.

Innocence, like fragile glass, shatters,
As compassion's flame flickers and scatters,
For where love should bloom, seeds of hate are sown,
And wickedness, like weeds, are widely grown.

Through history's pages, it leaves its scar,
A grotesque portrait, etched from afar,
From ancient wars that tore nations apart,
To modern horrors that still sear our heart.

Yet amidst this darkness, a light does gleam,
A glimmer of hope, like a lucid dream,
For deep within us, a flickering spark,
Undying empathy, ignites this arc.

This flame flickers, but never fades away,
Even in the face of darkest dismay,
It binds us together, our guiding star,
A beacon of kindness, seen from afar.

So let us resist inhumanity's sway,
With love and compassion, we shall slay,
The beast that lurks within the human race,
And restore our world to a sweeter embrace.

For in our hearts, the power resides,
To change the tide, where evil subsides,
Together we stand, united we find,
That in our humanity, true strength we'll bind.

With empathy, our weapon of choice,
We'll silence the voices that rejoice,
In spreading darkness, fear, and despair,
And nurture a world where compassion's fair.

Let us remember, in moments of doubt,
That inhumanity can be cast out,
With gentleness, patience, and a friendly hand,
We shall forge a future where unity will stand.

Time to reflect

In the depths of my reflection true,
A mirror holds the secrets I pursue,
A portal to a world unknown, unseen,
Where echoes of myself reside, serene.

With gentle touch against the glass I press,
The image shimmers, causing me to guess.

Oh, mirror of myself, reveal to me,
The hidden facets of my identity,
Unveil the depths that lie beneath the surface,
And show the truth, devoid of any purpose.

Like a kaleidoscope, the colors dance,
Each fragment tells a story and dreams begin their trance.

With every slant ,a new perspective shines,
Reflecting strengths and flaws within these lines,

Within your glass, a symphony of thought,
A tapestry of emotions finely wrought,
The reflection stares back, a resilient gaze,
And weary lines that time cannot erase.
There's kindness in the creases of my eyes,
And wisdom born of years, a priceless prize.

But shadows lurk behind this mirrored veil,
Whispering doubts and fears that tend to pale,
Yet through the mist, a spark of hope unfolds,
Renewing strength, as boundless as it molds.

Oh, mirror of myself, with every glance,
You teach me how to love, to take a chance,
To embrace imperfection, to find grace,
And bravely journey towards my chosen pace.

For in your reflection, I finally see,
The mirror of myself - both you and me.

Sleep in distress

In the depths of night, when all is calm,
A wearied soul seeks solace, body and mind,
But sleep eludes, a restless storm,
As stress and worries intertwine.

Deprived of dreams that gently roam,
Through fields of peace and tranquil bliss,
The weight of burdens takes its toll,
Leaving sleep a distant, treasured miss.

Yet fear not, for within these lines,
A gentle lullaby I'll weave,
To soothe your troubled thoughts and minds,
And grant the sleep you truly need.

Close your eyes, release the strain,
Let go of troubles, one by one,
Breathe in serenity, exhale the pain,
As quietude and slumber become one.

Imagine a meadow, bathed in moonlight's glow,
Where worries fade, lost in the night sky,
Soft whispers of a gentle breeze bestow,
A calming hush, as time drifts by.

Each breath you take brings deeper rest,
Relax your body, let tension cease,
With every exhale, you are blessed,
As tranquility spreads, bringing sweet release.

In this peaceful haven, worries fade away,
Replaced by stillness and serene embrace,
Sleep finds its way, easing the fray,
As dreams unfurl, tailored to your grace.

So close your eyes and trust the night,
Embrace the realm of dreams anew,
For in slumber, troubles take flight,
And rejuvenation will come to you.

Remember, dear friend, stress may try,
But in sleep's embrace, you will find,
A respite from worries, where shadows lie,
And a gentle, peacefulness to unwind.

Rest assured, my dearest friend,
Sleep shall find its way to thee,
For in moments of quiet, worries transcend,
And peaceful dreams blend seamlessly.

May sleep be restored, and stress recede,
As peaceful slumber graces your bed,
Embracing dreams of joy and heed,
Awakening to new beginnings ahead.
