Just Another Lost Soul

I crave the kind of love no one delivers,
I crave the kind of love that sends down a shiver.
I hope I deserve what I seek,
I hope that it is truly meant for me.
My life is so loveless it seems,
It’s held by a string on the seams.
Slowly tearing apart,
Drifting like shells in the sea.
While those innocent eyes in the mirror,
Look at me.
They look at me and I see,
A hollow eye with no beam.
The mistakes I’ve made flash in front of me,
And a tear rolls down my cheek.
I’ve had one true love but I lost it,
He didn’t end but his love for me did.

oh how i love her

Oh how she smiles,
The pink of her cheek.
Oh how she lights up,
When i tell her she's sweet.
Oh how she held my hand,
When i had lost my way.
Oh how she wiped,
Those tear stained faces.

I look at her and i see,
a very faint glimpse of me.
All this time we spent together,
 she imprinted herself on me.
If i could name a star,
I would name it after her.
And if someone asked me when it dies,
I would tell them "never".

For my love towards her is true as always,
and if it did die,
it would be because my life and i had part ways.

death

To have felt what i feel,
To have heard what i hear,
To have scars on the skin,
To have faced all your fears.
All things i now regret.
All things that no one ever understood.
Those words that melted my eyes wet,
Those words that always verbally shot me in the head.
One could have let them slide,
But my mind always held onto them tight and gave them a place to reside.
Blades feel like paper knives.
Blood feels like water,
My mind, so dark that it might become a physical slaughter.
All the times that i thought i could be fixed, Were all fake promises and tricks.
So this is what I've become now,
And I own upto it.
Because the one up there only made one of me,
But now, alas, there will be none of me.

him

his smile
his smile so wide
it makes me smile
his eyes so beautiful
it makes my heart heavy
i wish he couldve been mine
but its all just a dream
my weary eyes dread the sight of him
one glimpse of those eyes
and my legs tremble
i begin to speak but i fumble
i fumble so hard i fall
fall into a pool of tears
that he wiped
i wish we hadnt this distance between us
i wish he was here as i write

Vultures

I'm something I'm not proud to be,
but what if this something has always been me?
What if the monster that crawls in me is just my heart?
What if it explodes before I tear it apart?
My ruins will fly,
like vultures in the sky.
Picking on the dirt they find,
of the ground and my dead body's hind.
I tore papers to calm myself.
The only relief i got was none.
So i took the blade and carved myself,
and all it gave me was fun.
