The Crawler

Leave me colorless
Fill me with an oversized anecdote besmeared on my thoughtlessness
I have no stories for you my second
No war crimes for you my first
No love for you my third
For after all I am colorless
I am your minds inversion of self-reflection
A backwards mirror
I am no deity
I have no explanation
I am what I am
The silent children moan as I look past their fathers lands
Their cattle cry for their calf as I raise my elusive hands
Timid Timid - no more
Timid Timid - no more
Lovely grim penance
The stars look in disgust as we ravage each other
I bury one hundred generations of 100 children and one hundred of their children
Timid Timid - no war
Timid Timid - no war
For you are the crawler
Yes you are the crawler

Beth

Reel me in, I’m feeling further
My Desmond daze reaps a soulful yearn as you cross my plain
Reaching out yet only my eyes feel you
She’s God’s oath
Betwixt my folded arms that stitch, twist a soulless gaze In which I cannot define
More-so, Regretfully refined
But as I realize that she was right
The moment has come for her to exit my life
She’s everything horrible about perfection
Winter’s perspective of autumns lesson
She’s every color of a supernova
An explosion to only bring me closer
Her mouth a blade to make me fall to bits
Touching her means cherishing your fingertips
Sweet violet tendencies
Wasn’t it Eros who got in the way of his own arrows?
Begotten to lay alone forever
Begotten to write my own little words
What an unusual way to whimper
“I need you tonight”

Ruby

I am at a loss
For the sake of my words
For the sake of my disguise
You tend to me with an imploring stare
I’ve searched for you yet you were always there
Perpetually unaware of my own solitude, I cry with champagne
Or anything withering
Or anything meaningful for the time being
I lost count of all your shades
The Sun rises and sets with you
I’ve wallowed till my despair created you
I am here, because you are here
I am at a loss
For the sake of my impeding freedom
For the sake of my dancing lies
You have me bestowed on a silver platter
Waiting for you to dig in
And as you get deeper you will continue to find me
Perpetually unaware of my own solitude
Are you the one who will find me?
You must be the one to find me
Be the one who will find me
Why must you be the one to find me?
