Mollie Budgett Poem
"Reality" is a terrifying concept.
Unescapable,
It looms unmercifully.
They want us to live there,
Walking around in blind misery,
Breathing in their truths.
But we refuse to comply.
Instead, we dance beautifully,
In the rain of our delusions.

Mollie Budgett Poem
Hey, little curly-headed girl
Why are you out here alone?
The darkness is no place for someone like you.
Little curly-headed girl
Why don't you speak?
What is making you so blue?
"I am not blue nor afraid,"
She flatly states
With an emptiness in her tone.
"I am forgotten,"
"Pushed down, buried deep."
"You decided you were better off alone."

Mollie Budgett Poem
An exhibition of colors
Dancing and intertwining wildly;
Creating a beautiful chaos.
Each color a piece
Of a complicated, bewildering puzzle
That's constructed and manifests a soul.
But what happens when the music stops
And the dancing ends?
The once vibrant colors soon begin to fade.
The colors withdrawal
Depleted, they can no longer shine.
Only an achromatic gloom remains.
The soul is no longer.
The body is left confused.
What am I now?

Mollie Budgett Poem
Inhale deeply,
Exhale slowly.
Don't be afraid, my friend.
Knock down the wall,
Step into the light.
Welcome the pain,
Embrace the happiness.
Feel.
Be free,
And feel.
