craft

break the cycle
own my path
opinions bring power
believe in your craft
negative whispers
holding you back
wounded by words
is all in the past

Autumn

Leaves of gold and fiery red
Around us all it's beauty spreads
Crisp air, icy breath
Holding hands for warmth is best

Cozy sweaters they'll never fetter
The change in you , alongside this weather

Shorter days , nights will come quicker
Cocoa in hand instead of cold liquor

Season of sweetness
Some may say bitter

If autumn is this good
I can't wait for winter

Family man

You first
Second be i
My last goodnight
My hardest goodbye

Your life above all
It comes before mine
Love everlasting
Our family combined

 Each in my heart
Forever in mind.
The man your most cherished by
All of the time

Motherhood

Year of twenty fourteen changed me
 a baby with a baby
Although your cherished endlessly
Motherhood is scary

This little person
New to life
My emotions overbearing
Nurtured with a newfound
Love, protectiveness and caring

 Nothing means more to me
You really cant compare it .
A woman who im proud to be
When i become your parent

Fist born

Olivia my darling where to begin

Your scrumptious laughter

Your glorious grin

Softest of hearts

Yet tougher than most

Here's to your clever mind

Let's raise a toast

To my first ever love

You forever remind me

Life is much brighter with you stood beside me

Quietly grow

Penny
Pennies
Into pounds
Cost of living
Breaking down

Digging
Chipping
Gritty climb
I'll come out on top
I'll work
I'll grind

Sometimes short
But never without
Thirsty commitment
 dampens this drought

Drip by drip
Collect the flow
Cup almost full
But don't let them know .

Appreciated

Being a mum is a full-time job,
A role that never ends.
A love without measure ,
Purley it transcends.

From sleepless nights to endless days.
The work is never done.
But the joy you feel being a mum
Is worth it, every one.

Watching your child grow and learn,
A gift that cant be bought.
A feeling such as this to protect
That cannot be taught.

So here's to all the mums out there,
Who work so hard each day,
Your love and dedication,
Is appreciated in every way.

Mum guilt

Ticking off my list which has built up throughout the day mentally crossing out a jumble of tasks that only keep growing with each second.

My thoughts foggy .
Hours escaped ending in a blur.
And most of the time , im still left with a heavy disappointment .
Yet to complete some , if not all of those jumbled tasks .

Mum guilt

Unbearable

require patience.
You always are so patient.
Burdened with consistent ache,
wearing thin your patience

 A committed soul,
you represent commitment.
Healing wounds not your own
I admire the persistence
Man of many qualities
Selflessly persistent

Restrictions hold no power
Do you feel restricted
Fear ive become unbearable
Leaving you conflicted
Soon to loose my only friend
Alone as i predicted

Brown eyes

I see Heaven in those brown eyes.
Your smile make my cheeks go warm,
Melting on the inside
Giving me your hand, holding on to mine.
Your body on my body, running through my mind.
Together! Thats how i always want to spend
All of my time.
The rest of yours.
The rest of mine.
The rest of both our lives.
