Durgaa Mundakana Poem
Stormy skies that come together
Clouds that merge forever
When the sun drowns from east to west
Thunderclaps begin to feast
Lightening strikes in the middle of nowhere
The tides dance full of glory
The trees respond whispering their music
The stormy skies have just begun

Durgaa Mundakana Poem
The unimaginable is found
The ordinary is lost
Connected we disconnect
Mysterious hoods knocked
A parallel dimension is unknowingly turned
Knowledge may be dumped
Or something may be learnt
Lazily we lay
Or studiously we work
We never know its face
Social media is one weird place

Durgaa Mundakana Poem
Where the world isn’t ready to listen
All alone you are
With the grey sky
A body which is helpless
A mind which is defeated
A feeling that’s gone
Stuck deep inside your grave
Hard to come out
And fight for your way
You are not anywhere near
A mellow filled with sunshine
And daisies but far away
Where the tides are rough
There isn’t any land
You are stuck in a rock
No one by your side
The echo of your voice hits in and out
coming back to you again
You give up now
You give up here
Hope is gone with the wind
Far away from where you stand
And the world isn’t ready to listen

Durgaa Mundakana Poem
Fire
Anger burns in me when not satisfied
My blood rushes to my head
Unhappy, I light a fire deep down
I can’t extinguish what I create
Satisfaction is a necessity
I turn into an uncontrollable force
Furious I see flames
Which have no light but scorch
My eyes turn melancholiac
With the cinders left in me
I can’t distinguish between right and wrong
An uneasy dread creeps in and draws confusion
Weight arrives on my shoulders
I can never cool down from the anguish
That foreshadows me secretly
Curiosity fills itself around
Questions begin to unravel
There conspires the evil
Doubt mocks the innocent
Igniting the fire and flames

Durgaa Mundakana Poem
My call is helpless
My pain is potent
My cry is desperate
With meaningless thoughts
My head is filled with distaste
Not a spark of hope around
With broken wings, I sit in a corner
But, with a glimmer of motivation
I will find the spirits
Mysterious and magical
I will soar and glide
I will rise like a phoenix
With broken wings
Bold and beautiful
I will stab the vicious evil
I Will stand tall
I will rise like a phoenix
With broken wings
Bold and beautiful

Durgaa Mundakana Poem
A blurry vision pops in my eyes
Hitting my head, making me fall
A vision before all of this happened
Before being trapped
Where I can escape but I can’t
It feels like a bloomed flower
That closes because of the thunder
Lightning has struck my eyes
A feeling of fear has traveled
Digging a pit in my stomach
With empty darkness

Durgaa Mundakana Poem
Manslaughter, murder and massacre is one
But a visit to the dentist is another
The eerie smiles hidden behind the masks
The twinkly eyes filled with plots
To offer they have lots and lots
Oh… those dentists I wish I had never met…!
Rubbery gloves and broken headlights
Red sinks of blood
The dirty water or is it mud?
Disgusting pastes and painful syrups
Tweezers, hammers, and drills
Certain of our deaths!
Oh… those dentists I wish I had never met…!
Every visit every time
Oh.. the noble hearts..
put on their smiles and say
-“it is just another month or two!
Have a Good Day”!
Oh… those dentists I wish I had never met…!

Durgaa Mundakana Poem
There is a misguided feel
Stuck deep down
I can hear uncertainty
I can see it in my heart
I can smell the horror
I can breathe it in my lungs
I can taste the disgust
I can feel it in my skin
There is ignorance all over
And the misguided feel is right

Durgaa Mundakana Poem
It brings tears enough for an ocean
It screeches of disdain
It tests our greatest fears with horror and vain
It speaks only truth of misery that makes us slain.
It is only a muzzling shadow which in the end
Makes us stronger but never tamed.
