Wings

I've decided it's time to set you free, so I'm giving you your wings, now fly, fly away, and be free.
  I tried so hard to make to you see, see how much you meant to me, but in the end it just wasn't meant to be.
 To show how much you truly mean to me, I'm letting you go so you can finally be free!
  Please don't turn back to me, just spread your wings because that is what fate intended, you see.
 I'll always love you and want you to be happy, over pleasing me. 
 I'll be okay, I promise you'll see, so don't worry, I just want you to spread your wings and be free!
