The Dream

Waking from a troubled dream,
I'm haunted by the things I've seen.
A world on fire with seas of glass,
and burnt and whithered trees and grass.
Corpses lay upon the land
People charred and turned to sand
The wind blew with the stench of death
I tasted death in every breath
I searched for birds up in the air
But only ashes fell from there
As cinders rained down from the sky
I fell upon the ground to cry
And when I looked at my own hands
and all I saw was blackened sand
That's when I knew it was my end,
and blew away upon the wind.

Slumber

Now I lay me down to sleep
I'm cast into the Darkest Deep
My fate draws nearer every breath
As I prepare to welcome Death
When I succumb at Her behest
My heart shall cease within my chest
The Shadows swallow up my light
I fade away into the night
With Lifeless eyes she'll welcome me
Into Her arms, hence life must flee
This frail and fragile form of mine
And slumber for eternal time
All sadness cast away and pains
Shall fall from me like broken chains
By Darkness was my life consumed
And there I dwell in shadows gloom

Disney Lies

All of our lives were fed Disney lies about how perfect the world is
Then the day comes one we're forced to breathe deep the darkness that envelopes our soul
We spend so much time being conformists and blind til our death finally sneaks from behind
He's come to reap all the secrets we keep while he stares from his cold lifeless eyes

Angela Eyes

With the girl I love,
The twinkle is so bright.
Laying, looking, wanting,
On a perfect summer night.
I gaze in splendor at the sight
Of the most beautiful thing of all.
It's not out there somewhere in space,
On some fiery glowing ball.
They captivate and hypnotize
Like nothing in the skies
What I gaze into tonight
Are my angels eyes.

My Heart

Though nightmares often haunt my sleep,
and trouble me until I weep,
Theres other times I think of you,
where sun is bright and skies are blue
You fill my heart and soul with peace
and wash away my pain and grief
Connected and forever bound,
a truer friend was never found
You're always there when life gets rough
and I could never do enough
to show you what you mean to me
But even so I hope you see
there's nothing I would fail to do
or sacrifice to carry you
Through all those times you need a friend
I'll lift you up and hold your hand
If you need help I'll stand and fight,
I'll fight for you with all my might
I'll make your burdens mine to bear
and bear with love because I care
