Bold

Being bold takes goodwill, empathy,
fearlessness, unprejudiced attitude.
It’s a discipline, demands much labour,
Sweat, self-awareness and surveillance.

Nevertheless it’s worth all the effort!
Otherwise no one would never have
Either dived in the sky or tamed a tiger
Or just tried sushi like me the other day.

Boldness causes life to be delighful,
And surprising, and sunlit, and meaningful.
It’s what makes one love passionately
Even if they’re absolutely not sure whether
They are or will ever be loved in return.

Impossible

What is in beauty that can make you agony?
What is in love that seems to tear you apart?
Why would supposedly delightful things become painful?

We are born and we grow up selfish, that is why!

We wish naively to own beauty.
We wish arrogantly to control love.
We wish, after all, what is utterly impossible!

And the impossible hurts more than any other thing!

Hollow

I am hollow for I want what is out of my reach
Things I cannot have at that precise moment
My will struggles inside like a chained monster
Trying to get lose and devour whatever has the
Power to make my silly selfish dream come true.

Then the fortune wheel spins my fate round,
And brings up change, causing the unlikely to be.
Happiness happens unexpectedly as a lightening
Lasting no longer than a lightening does in the sky,
Making me want more, and different, and new things.

Hollow I’m found again, lost in my delusional aspirations
Restarting a cycle made purely of torment, angst, darkness,
Everlasting unsatisfaction that leads indeed to inherent conquests
As well as to the deepest abysm of a restless unfulfilled soul
Who will never comprehend the meaning of the word “enough”.

Acceptance

Today hot chocolate, TV, laziness…
Tomorrow grass juice, oat, fitness…
Now I could eat you, bite you, chew you all!
Later on I can´t hear a word from your mouth!

I curse, then I bless,
I sin, then I confess,
I repent, then sin again!
This is my very own refrain…

Will you take me, stand me, love me
The way I am and the way I am not?
Will it work and last, will you want me
Whatever it takes, despite things get hot?

Say you will or say not!
Show me instead, go, take a stand,
Shut me up, get me out
Of my own weak ‘n hesitating hand.

For you only make me want to be what I am not,
And you alone make me want not to be what I am,
Even when you speak not any words or complain,
Even if you don’t ask me to change a single spot.

Night

Night is definitely my best friend,
For it doesn’t ask me to do anything but to enjoy myself.
At night I may feel my body cold…
Then I realize I won’t have to feel others’ coldness as well!

Night is undoubtedly the most bright piece of the day.
The sky may be dark, but sunlit ideas light up the mind!
Though gloomy, at night one can be anything but blind,
For thoughts come up so clear as in a plain highway!

Night is delightfulness, unspeakable pleasure…
Time for melodies, stories, daydreaming, fulfilling solitude!
Such preciousness one shall absolutely treasure,
For dawn’s just around the corner showing envious attitude.

So “here comes the sun” some may happily say…
My consolation, though, lies in knowing far n’ away
By the end of an endless, warm and sunny day
My dearly beloved night comes back to me come what may!

Stupid Reflections On How It's Fun To Be In Love

Passion rhymes with obsession
And when you last expect,
It’s him “this”, her “that”…
I wanna see him now,
I wanna kiss her again,
I wanna smell and bite,
hold him/her in my arms

Oh, how I miss my one
all the time of the day,
whatever I do or say,
everything reminds me
the portrait of my desire,
the incarnation of love,
the only one who could ever
make me fly over the clouds,
slide onto a bright rainbow,
see stars with the eyes closed,
fulfill my yearning for clichés
my necessity of being silly and
not being judged by the world!

How delightful it is to be in love,
To have butterflies in the stomach,
To be envied by others that aren’t
To be pure and naïve, and believe
“happily ever after” truly exists;
To be stupidly cheerful and nuts
Instead of bitter and skeptical.

It’s better than a shrink or a gym,
It makes skin glow and eyes shine
At last, when it’s all said and done,
It makes one feel like they’re lively alive!

Role

When everything and everyone around are silent
I feel my soul being fulfilled with serenity and peace.
My inspiration then starts emerging in a crescendo
Bit by bit, carrying into effect plain ‘n clear perceptions.

Those perceptions bring about reflection
And it all makes meaningful reasoning arise
Followed by ideas [creative or not] that come up
To cause my hands to move and write, write, write!

Doing that I go all through the night, and
Next morning my body is thoroughly wasted.
My spirit, however, is not weary, for silence
Fed it with plenty of wonder and satisfaction.

So I just live the day
Enjoying every moment,
And feeling like I’m sure
What my role in the world is.

Secretly

Talking to me is like
Opening the fridge
And grabbing a bite to eat.

Smelling my perfume is like
Remembering how familiar and sweet
Is your mamma’s scent.

Touching my hand is like
Holding your puppy dog
And caressing its head.

You look into my eyes,
But your eyes, oh, they’re blind!
You hear me call your name,
But your ears, oh, how deaf they are!

You cannot smell, you cannot taste…
You’re just not able to feel
My love for you
Which is all over me!

Still, it’s written: “[Love] is not self-seeking”
Lucky you, for I can’t not be able to love you.
Even if I crave it so badly, I simply can’t!
So I’ll just let you be… my love, for good, and secretly!
