What I Like About Riding

One day someone asked me why I loved horseback riding. When I was asked I honestly didn't
have an answer. So I thought long and hard about it, and here it is.

I love to ride a horse because of the freedom I feel,
The trees as they flash by,
The wind in my hair,
The atmosphere where it is just me and my horse,
When I ride I forget all of my troubles,
The sway of the long grass as the wind blows,
The sound of the ground under the horses feet,
The fresh air,
And riding into the beautiful sunset.

But along with all of these things I love about riding I have come to realize that it is
a part of who I am. Maybe it is the fact that I have Native American blood running through
my veins.

Keep the Stars Shining Bright

Every time I see you a smile appears on my face.
Every time we talk it is like we are miles apart.
Every time we walk together people stop and stare.
Every time we say good night we end it with keep the stars shining bright.
Every time I cry you hold me close and tell me it will be alright.
Every time I make a joke you laugh even when it may be bad.
Every time you are sad I cheer you up.
Every time you are mad I calm you down.
Every time that I am cold you wrap your jacket around me.
Every time we say good night we end it with keep the stars shining bright.

Snap! Crackle! Pop!

Snap! Crackle! Pop! is the whispers of a warm camp fire.
The sweet aroma of the maple as it leaks out of the burning wood.
The fresh air.
The glow of the yellow orange fire.
The clear dark sky with the moon and stars shining so bright.
Snap! Crackle! Pop! is the sound of peace.
A camp fire is time to bond with friends, family, and lovers.
The smiles, songs, first kisses, jokes, and laughs.
The red burning embers crash to the ground.
Snap! Crackle! Pop! means it's time to enjoy a tasty treat.

God Must Really Love Me... (Written By: My Love)

I think it must be that god really loves me,
to send me a love with the face of an angel above,
who keeps me in her heart forever,
and I will always have her.
I love my angel!

A Real Man

A real man would call a girl beautiful instead of hot or sexy.
He would call her back when she hung up on him.
He'll stay awake just to watch her fall asleep.
Kiss her on the forehead.
Hold her hand in front of his friends.
He would constantly remind her of how much he loves her and how lucky he is to have her.
He would turn to his friends and say, " That is my baby."
A real man would cry in front of a girl.
He would wipe away her tears, hug her tight, and tell her that everything is going to be
alright.

The Two of Us

A man is on a stone
He feels so very alone
He has had his flings
But he longs for other things
What? He does not know
His life is cold as snow
Something fast catches his eye
An angel flying in the sky
The man does not lose sight
For the brightness of her light
He meets her on the ground
And asks her to stay around
They stay together like two dove
Together they fall in love
You see it is true
 The angel is you
And u must see
The man is me
I love you
We know the love is true
We wait for the dawn
Together we move on
To our life as one
Our love has now and forever won

Smile

Smile when nothing seems to be going your way.
Smile when you really haven't a word to say.
Smile just because you can.
Smile even though you can't find your pan.
You don't know what will happen tomorrow so smile away.

I Still Care About You

We were perfect for each other.
You knew it as well as I did.
We laughed and smiled together.
We shared our deepest darkest secrets with one another
You took me places no one else has ever been.
Your family took care of my brother when he had nowhere to go.
I loved you with all my heart.
You said you did to.
I didn't care about your past.
I never cared about what my family thought of you.
You act like I have never been part of your life.
You say nasty hurtful words about me.
Be a man and face me.
Tell me why you hate me so much.
Maybe then I could let you go.
For now though I still care about you.

My Heart...( Written By: My Love)

My heart is deeply pounding,
I know it's cheesy sounding,
but it seems that it is true,
That it can only be you.
God is giving me a sending,
that our love has no ending.
So my message is to you,
that I will always love you.

and a new book will begin.
