Regrets

The fool regrets the things they have done,
The wise regrets the things that they haven't.
The one who is balanced regrets both of these,
The one at peace has no regrets.

The Stream

I guess that love is like a stream,
starting strong, maybe some rocks in between.

A strange wonderful path it may take,
with different features in its wake.

But it may split further down the line,
and maybe rejoin after some time.

Always connected by its past,
always hoping it will last.

But if it has to take a different route,
let’s just hope it’s one that'll suit.

For at the end of the stream is the sea,
I thought that would be our destiny.

Only time can tell how we'll flow,
I guess that only time will show.
