Music
So relieving,
Just so mesmerizing,
Always distracting my body,
Passive

Jay Smith Poem
Sometimes I wonder,
About your faith,
About your honesty,
About your fictions,
Sometimes I wonder,
About your beauty,
About your deception,
About you in general,
Sometimes I wonder,
About my life,
About our life together,
About how it began,
Sometimes I wonder,
About our life,
About our truths,
About our lies,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the stars,
About the earth,
About the sun,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the skin,
About the blood,
About the scars,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the rain,
About the wind,
About the thunder,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the lightning,
About the clouds,
About the storm,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the attraction,
About the enticement,
About the addictions,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the razor,
About the misery,
About the pain,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the grass,
About the trees,
About the ocean,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the rivers,
About the ice-bergs,
About the water,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the taunting,
About the symbolicism,
About the intimidation,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the tears,
About the hurt,
About the hate,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the emotion,
About the empathy,
About the pride,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the passion,
About the humor,
About the apathy,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the fashion,
About the design,
About the vision,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the independence,
About the creativity,
About the impression,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the ideal,
About the standard,
About the hypnotism,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the challenges,
About the experience,
About the success,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the drugs,
About the enstrangement,
About the pressure,
Sometimes I wonder,
About the alienation,
About the mentality,
About the corruption,
Sometimes I wonder...

Jay Smith Poem
I squeeze myself, turn the music off…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
I close my eyes, scream in my head…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
I take a deep breath, feel my chest shudder…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
I feel my heartbeat speed up, though time seems still…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
I press my face to my pillow, trying to focus…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
I hear an echo in my head, can it be your voice?..
~ You Need To Be Here ~
My arms are empty, discomfort breaks my focus…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
My hands are cold, my bed is so lonely…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
There is nobody here, only blankets to hold me…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
A glimmer of hope, I dreamed of you…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
My fantasy so short, I woke too soon…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
My eyes are dry, I roll over in discontent…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
My muscles tense, my conscious sways…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
Like an itch I can’t reach, my insatiable longing…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
I feel claustrophobic, you’re so far away…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
I need to hold you, I need to protect you…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
I need to hear you, I need to feel you…
~ You Need To Be Here ~
I need your love, I need to love you…
* I Need You Here… *

Jay Smith Poem
The rain is so romantic;
So free and so alive,
My thoughts are getting clearer,
As thoughts of you arrive.
I'm happy we're together;
I like you so much.
Delight in every smile,
Electricity in every touch.
Your eyes are full of wonder;
And I'm joyful to explain,
That in them I see romance,
Stronger than the rain.
I envision what I hope,
And I hope my wish comes true.
I wish, come night, a wondrous sleep;
In which I dream of you.

Jay Smith Poem
Here are my thoughts;
Put down to paper,
Here are my memories;
Written in stone,
Here are the words;
I left unspoken,
Here are the feelings;
That I left alone.
You've always managed;
To steal my stare,
You've always managed;
To make me smile,
You've always managed;
To look so beautiful,
You've always managed;
To seem versatile.
You've never hurt me;
With harsh words,
You've never hurt me;
With a broken truth,
You've never hurt me;
With sticks or stones,
You've never hurt me;
Throughout our youth.
We've always been friends;
Despite the rumors,
We've always been friends;
Despite the years,
We've always been friends;
Despite the lies,
We've always been friends;
Despite the tears.
We always see each other;
Yet, we don't speak our true feelings,
We always see each other;
Yet, the mystery's never broken,
We always see each other;
Yet, our thoughts are withheld,
We always see each other;
Yet, these words are unspoken...?

Jay Smith Poem
Don't ask me for
Something I can't give.
And don't ask me why
I'm saying this.
You say he's a friend,
I say that's a lie.
Could you just explain?
Just tell me why.
What's with the deceit?
What's wrong with the truth?
Can't you just tell me,
Why must I be a sleuth?
I don't understand
What you're asking me for.
When I know he's something
I can't just ignore.

Jay Smith Poem
A beauty of which seems not to alter,
A voice that never seems to falter,
A mind of which has no boundary,
A love of which I can't help but see,
With just one word I shall define thee.

Jay Smith Poem
Luck is here and luck is there
The
Only
Source
Of bad luck is lack of good luck,
And
The
Only
Source
Of good luck is confidence so don't
Spend time pondering depression
Because you'll
Feel so much
Better if you
Just keep
Your chin up. I don't like misery
and
I
hate
All of the depression
So please just smile

Jay Smith Poem
Something so profound,
Something you won't expect,
When she takes you be the hand,
Your heart she will infect,
Take me to the funeral,
I'll watch my heart buried alive,
I'll take my medicine,
Perhaps I can contrive,
She'll twist you to the floor,
Drag you to the bed,
Oh my god,
I have no remedy for the dread,
We see the stones falling,
They're falling from the skies,
Like rain from the storm,
It hits the ground and dries,
She's got eyes that stare right through,
The heart and through the mind,
The stones turn to fire,
As your eyes dry out and you become blind,
Sending shivers right down your spine,
Meet me at the roadside,
Pay the ransom or not,
I'll be waiting outside.
So tell me how well can you swim,
With ropes wrapped around your limbs.

Jay Smith Poem
I fell through the cracks,
There's no coming back,
I'm on my own now,
My only question is how,
What did I do,
To deserve losing you?
Where do I go,
Now that you are my foe?
When do I rise,
Off the ground to the skies?
Who will I be,
When I'm no longer me?
How is this real,
When I no longer feel?
My wings expand,
I soar off the land,
The wind's in my face,
As I fly from this place,
The air becomes warm,
As I flee from the storm,
I'm forgetting my shame,
As I'm learning my name,
Who says scars don't heal,
That cliche's so puerile,
My scars are now fading,
My past is downgrading,
My skin is now smooth,
My mind now feels soothed,
Like a phoenix to a flame,
I've now found my name,
My old name is abandoned,
And replaced with the name *Wind*
