Deceit: Verse 1

Don't ask me for Something I can't give. And don't ask me why I'm saying this. You say he's a friend, I say that's a lie. Could you just explain? Just tell me why. What's with the deceit? What's wrong with the truth? Can't you just tell me, Why must I be a sleuth? I don't understand What you're asking me for. When I know he's something I can't just ignore.
