When headed towards the doom
I heard someone calling ,
calling me to the cross .
When I a wretch so full of sin ,disgraced and full of filth .
Could anyone love me ,was all that I thought .
For I knew ,I was not good enough for anyone to choose.
But at the moment ,at the cross
My Saviour's blood washed my guilt away .
Renewed I was like a young lamb ,
leaping towards that glorious place.
Where all the sins are washed white as snow
where there is no tear or pain ,where all is as new as it was in Eden .
When the Lord created man after His own heart.

What are these lines? that are drawn on my palm
what significance do they carry ?
why are there contours on my fingers
and why do they vary ?
I hear people call them finger prints,
and heard them say they are different for all .
They signify my uniqueness and all that I am made of.
But for me these are the love lines of God ,
which He inscripted on my palm .
Reminding me of my uniqueness ,
of His concern and His love.
It conveys me of how wonderfully,
I am made and that there is no one else like me ,
who in my Father's eyes is the same .
These fingerprints are my love letter that I read
every day ,reminding me of a love story that always will remain .

The route is long
and my destination is far ,
The hot white sun,
is beating on me ten times harder than before .
I stumble and I fall,
yet again I rise because
the road to golgotha is worth the fight .
They want to slaughter me just like a lamb
yet I am willing to pay for the soul of man
My sacrifice will not go in vain
because the road to golgotha is worth that pain .
They nailed me to a tree .
They stripped me bare for all to see
but I will take all that comes to me
because my redemption will set man free.
You will one day see the price I paid
My blood will wash and set you free
You will say that the road to
Golgotha was worth it for me .

I am blessed beyond measure
no comparison to be made.
My Heavenly Father has bombarded me with grace
Each morning His mercies are new,
I am blessed beyond measure ,and I will continue to be .
I am blessed beyond measure .
No remorse or regret ,
The Savior has shown mercy,and makes me glad.
Unconditional and irrational is His love towards me.
I am blessed beyond measure, and i will continue to be .

Can love so great and cherishable ,
be showered upon me so recklessly .
How unconditional and indescribable,
are the deeds of it .
Seeing not my past ,
nor dealing according to deeds.
Can love be so reckless and soothing .
Rejected and scorned by the ones He loved ,
yet He continued .
How great is the story of the lover,
and His reckless love .

How sweet were the smell of wood and sawdust.
How pleasant were the sounds of,
chisel and saw which are now foreigners to me.
I can now only hear the thud of nail going deep into the wood of my cross.
The wood that I once cherished ,
has become a snare to entangle me to my death.
Yet I'll cherish it more as it will break your shackles.
The pride I once took in making tables and chairs ,
I will take in being nailed to the cross.
The crown of thorns I'll hold dear to my heart as it is your redemption call.
And at last my journey from chisel to the cross will be just a pleasant stroll.

When thoughts like flames consumed my heart,
It set me ablaze to look at the start.
The day when He created Eden and set man to rule the nations.
Then He flooded the earth,
yet kept Noah to save mankind from extermination.
Then he came Jacob ,Moses ,Samuel and David a mighty warrior.
He at last sent a helpless babe to bear the burden,
which on His shoulders He had laid.
He bled to death though He had no sin.
The perfect sacrifice then was made,
when The Son of Man on a tree was nailed .
Oh! just for me a mere wretch ,
He had to die .
In my pride ,I did not consider Him beautiful,
yet He was the perfect sacrifice.

I am witting this to tell you how much I love you ,
Not a single day goes by when you aren't the first thought
to pop up in my mind, the instant I wake up.
I dream of wakening up next to you each morning ,for you to be the first
thing my eyes see ,
and to fall asleep next to you so that you are the last thing I dream of ,
when I drift off to dreamland .
My word may not be much ,but the emotions I have ,are gushing inside me .
Each memory of ours ,carries a different story all together.
I know not how it happened ,but I am glad it did .
My only prayer each instant is you remain with me .
Just a whisper of yours makes my heart throb .
A glans of yours makes butterflies flutter in my stomach .
I will give you all of me ,you give me all of you .
Our connection is different, not many may understand ,not many may
approve and not many may like, but lets make sure no one can take away
the fire it ignites within us .
I found you and it is enough ,it is all i need.
I am going to love you ,love you in your weakest moments,
will love you in at your highest.
No amount of situations will be able to make me love you lesser then today .
I won't make many promises.
Yes but this one for sure to love you to the fullest till my breath holds.

Like a broken vessel in the blacksmith's shop
I lay there broken and getting rusted.
I was of no use, no one stopped by
to pick me up and mend me .
Then one day when I lost all hope ,
there came a man who bought .
He did not comment on my looks ,
but lovingly He held me .
He cleaned me ,He mended me ,
He loved me though I was of no use .
He shaped me and reformed when i was deformed .
Now I stand shiny and clean ,without any blemish or scar
because my owner has mended me and given me a happy heart.

Why are you cast down oh my soul?
Why are you dull and weary?
Why do you moan,even after knowing
your Saviour took your worries .
Why do you seek pleasure in worldly things
when there is heavenly treasure set for you?
Why do you cry for the worldly ones ,
when they don't do it for you?
Have you forgotten the amazing love ,
that you have received from the heavenly realms.
Who did not keep His precious son ,
but gave him away to save you from prison.
