A Maniac Screams!

A maniac laughs
a maniac screams
and screams

feed me
feed me
mummy feed me
feed me
let me suckle upon
your shapely breast
even though I'm 53
and your dead

feed me
feed me
feed me

sweet breast milk
mummy's milk is the best
keep that cow's udder
away from me

I am not
I repeat
I am not belonging to this freak show
but soon I'll have no place to go.

Deep

Look
Into
the
eyes
of
an
Elephant.

Mona Pizza

I want to paint
a Mona Lisa
But I know
it will look like
a piece of pizza!

Summer Kisses

Butterfly kisses
for each and every flower
a joy to behold

Dress Rehearsal Rags

Up to my face she came.
I knew a storm was brewing.
She pointed an accusing finger in my face,
then took a step back and screamed
a tirade of venomous abuse in my direction.
I smiled as I headed into the kitchen.
I took a slow; deep calming breath,
then sat down at the kitchen table.
She followed me into the kitchen, and unleashed
another tirade of hurtful abuse towards me.
She, the High Priestess, baptised me with her wrath.
I picked up a book from the kitchen table
and read the first page,
silence had now miraculously descended.
I breathed in the unexpected ocean of calmness.
Shaking, she sat down opposite me and snatched
the book out of my hand, then asked me
how could I remain so calm?
I told her I wasn't in a vulnerable place
and was performing a Buddhist Heart meditation.
I was mirroring back at her the opposite energy
that she was directing at me,
I told her it always diffuses any confrontation.
Crying, she apologised and held her trembling hand out to me.
I took her hand in mine and gave her a reassuring look.
We embraced, then headed to the bedroom
in excited relief, to become one flesh.
We washed away the storm a few minutes ago.
Life certainly can be a mysterious and unpredictable
drama filled show.

NB: The title is in honor of my hero, Leonard Cohen.

Your Eyes

your eyes
full of love
pour into me
no need to open up
my need for more

your eyes
full of love
want me for who I am
I don't want this to end

you are my one true love
let me soar free
and only with you.

Old Man Blues

The Old Man has never
walked on the Moon
but he has crapped his pants
and he has puked on his wife's shoes
but after drinking a bottle of whiskey
The Old Man killed it when he played the blues.

Lenny Gazbowski

Leaning towards my
Ego is not recommended.
Never if sanity is to prevail,
Not that I have ever embraced sanity myself.
You will often see me dancing with everyone I don't know.

Getting to know me can cause many
Alarming lapses because I can always call on my imaginary
Zulu warriors, who keep watch on my
Back even when the Sun has slipped away
Over some romantic horizon.
Where naked lovers laugh and drink iced tea while
Sitting in the middle of a
Kissing choir of blind nuns who
Initiate the uneducated atheist passers by.

Walking Virus!

Your words
Dripping with venom

Your emotions
Crippled and diseased
Creating a toxic imbalance

I knew I had to leave
You were a walking virus.

Watch Those Vibrations!

Watch those vibrations dude
Don't fall into the sea of crude

Craft your thoughts and words with care
Rejoice in all that is fair

Watch those vibrations dude
Don't act like a fool

That is the Golden Rule.
