Parting Ways

Parting ways

there was a duckling,
searching for it's mother.
a chick came to the duckling
and it's fur is like the sun in summer

Apparently, both of them were lost.
they cried hearing each other
while comforting one another
and their hearts were soft.

they helped eachother out,
and soon they heard a shout.
the voice that they longed for
and they don't feel sad anymore.

soon, they both had to bid farewell,
and they knew they won't be so well,
however, the sun is setting down,
they took their own ways with certain frown.

Then now came the real sorrow,
as they know they won't see each other tomorrow.
walking away with eyes teary
as they understand it will be a good memory.
