T.R. Sevrens Poem
Part 1
Onion
the delicacy of friendship
I found you in the flowers
Standing tall we become one
Looking down from gangly towers
Squash, you burn, you pillage, son.
Follow me you say in tongues
Thy shallow mind reveal me tell
Whisper lies clean load the guns
I feel the burn I rot in hell
Friend folly menacing the liar
I loathe this coffin how it leaks
Dear foe you raped me set on fire
The onion peal itself and weeps
Part 2
Traitor
dear monkey boy
Older eyes eat themselves,
glance and kill the other
Unified in the dance,
they steer the musty rudder.
Pained and sweeter deeper wells,
poised buckets drunk with water.
Singled out the one that dried,
handed weights to pull him under.
Wiser times capture the mind,
death justifies dishonor.
Knife slice neat through the devil's back,
who stares blank and milks the udder.
Part 3
Tempest
patron saint
Inside this box
Goodbye tempestuous fall
My puppet of steel coiled thread
Smashed buttons and twisted dread,
Alarm these doors, and
Escape this delusive bunker bed
Stamp the spiders
Thief, vulture of the deflection
The mocking patron of the sinners
Erase this affliction
Relating inward at the reflection
Rise you fool
Part 4
Phoenix
i love you
close the grip
cinched hematic grip
drenched, clawing
seeking the sheave
becoming the counterweight
i absorb, now
extracting the heat
rise like a phoenix
away to be gone to be free
fix me! i have fixed me
i am alive and i love you
Part 5
Aye, Damager
Abolish her state of disrepair
Scattered, spattered drippy thoughts
All around this box of soused leaves
Soak, ferment in the faith of our love
I can't fix this, you know
I loathe this misunderstanding
Of what I am speaking, projecting
To me, Aye Damager, to you
This devil in me
turned and twisted
A wrecked elevator in rejection
Years locked painfully aware
...

T.R. Sevrens Poem
If I forget,
Remind me of your name
As it must have slipped away.
If I forget,
Show me a photo of my face
As it surely has changed.
If I forget,
Take my hand back to that place
For I've certainly lost my way.
If I forget,
Breathe a gentle breath in my ear
If will calm my fear and rekindle the flame.
If I forget,
Bring the heart straps
That held me to you like glue.
And if I forget,
Carry the memory of us
It is lost but a treasure on a raft on the waves...

Edmund becomes the code
Traversing he's a node
He spies the bug
A recursive slug
Triumphant to his abode

T.R. Sevrens Poem
Chapter One
Boy into the West
Dawn upon my cloak
Urged and so converged were the guns
Seeding myself with the rest
I broke in the eye of the Sun
Settling my mind on the heartless rapist. Time
Rasterize the faces
So thumb through the annals
Purged and so emerged fleshy etchings of this child
Breast wheels churn uncertainly
Moistened embers dance to the deafening drum
Tidal ducts offer piquant waters of the Pacific coffer
I arrive on the sands
Chapter Two
Hole in the Wall
Deserted in this mind
Hover in and now behind
Stare blank up through the ceiling stucco
Gathering in the stench of ghastly breath of wine
The New Year clothes itself topside
Unfashionable walls crush youthful spirit I drink alone, until morning
Demons of mine in lethargy
Gnawed and sluggish slivers bond my illness
Horizons of hues of shapes the girl knowing
Waking sweat cools slyly treats itself to my tongue
Warmth of girl takes my breath save the end of I prepare
God, are you there?
Chapter Three
Erosion
All in the deflection
Though his reflection isn't mine
Blood in kind of brotherly loving spiteful me
We close our doors of aid restraining love I have
For angry boys reject the angry drudge
Slave to a toilsome loving grudge
It is raining erosion
Blinding contortion
Why in my hands I can't see you yet
My rock there I can’t see her stand
These matters wash away too comfortably
I the destined rock
To erode on as grain of sand
Chapter Four
Facing the Crow
Give to the death
Long confronting his road
Gurge open those words she once clung on
Hung from the rope he dove to the end
I die decay per diem death
Metaling her heart on his mindless last breath
I survive only by his hand...

T.R. Sevrens Poem
Shuffle, plod and now
I moo in the obedient line of cows
Hack, slash and cry
Concealed I stare blank down and sigh
Shovel, bend and pack
The meat cold slides now off my back
Eyes, ears and nose
Master seems to not need those
Revolt, stalk and stand
Burn through control the dirty brand
Whittle, shave and douse
The Cow in me supports the House

T.R. Sevrens Poem
I remember the dance of the Indians
As we lay behind our thicket fence
And the rain fell just as they wished
I took your hand, you squeezed and we were there
Moving bodies flowed like they were meant
To be together until the bitter end
So? You ran away from your heart
Nothing really seems to stay the same
Can my pleas forgive me?
It kills to think that I'll never be with you again
Do you see me now?
I don't know, somehow ... you were mine

T.R. Sevrens Poem
‘At play with words’
Cork thine eyes
Cloaking lucent verbose halls
Surely binding shutting tight
Cork thine eyes
Clutching goblet sipping falls
Drunk seduction bending sight
Prose mine prys
Gather up my scrolling drawls
Paging through the spite
Prose mine prys
Splitting metaphors with mauls
Swindle word codle the blight
This poem explained
Shut your eyes
Shade your bright and wordy thoughts
Absolutely shut off your mind
Shut your eyes
Drink from the fountain of lies of the rich
Allow yourself to be seduced and become blind
My ordinary words chip away
Read what I have written
They are memorable moments of contempt
My ordinary words chip away
I chop up what I write with metaphors
The negative meanings of what I write deceives with tenderness

T.R. Sevrens Poem
Gathered at the grave we pay our homage,
To the grand and the ominous relics we so cherish.
To the great life giving force that
Has indeed given me room for displeasure.
Inhale the pollutant and exhale the desperation,
In a vain attempt to grasp life's puzzles.
I see this distorted picture of you.
A hysterical comment offers itself,
And I pray this moment will never end.
But as the sun greets the edge of the world,
our minds drift downward...
to a more delusional hue...
the color of our smoke filled rooms.

T.R. Sevrens Poem
Need another smoke and the worry for the health
Take a real long look in the mirror
The eyes are dead as is the face
Fall and call for help
The angel arrives on time
Hear the scratch of the dog
At the door which has been left open to fears
Dog stare the down demanding fruits
Frightened of the teeth so wish him away
Steal the food but take not the soul
Back through the door demands are thought
All for him is the soul
The one fruit held with a death grip
But anxiety burns the lining of the stomach
Offer the last piece and he eats from the hand
Now go away and only return when called
You stand so tall damn you pillar of salt
Which I may water down to find the solution
Drink the salty water in this glass
If this will able you to stand on your own two feet
Or choose to ride the dog
