Linda Laframboise Poem
There is a gift of love you cannot buy
That is, very rare and very true,
It’s a gift of love you, can give to me
It’s like having a wonderful guy, just like you
The many things you can do for me,
In your kind and loving ways,
You can give me months of happiness;
That no one, but, you can take away.
Nothing can be more beautiful
Than thoughts I have in you
The thoughts I’ll treasure forever,
To me, you, are someone special,
Yes you, and only you will be.
Someday your team may win the game,
And someday, I may win you, someday.
But we all have to try, even me;
Yes we must try, to win each others love.
Cause a bell is no bell, till you ring it
A song is no song till you sing it,
And, love in your heart wasn’t put there to stay;
Love isn’t love till you, give it away.

Linda Laframboise Poem
As the tears in our eyes flow
Which brings out those certain feelings inside
Feelings of love, hate and loneliness
Which we all try to hide.
So we’re always looking for that rainbow
That we believe is a better place
Which has all the love and happiness we need;
And loneliness we never have to face.
But you shouldn’t have to look there
As there are loved ones that do care
So if I ever go looking to see what love is
Then I won’t look beyond the love of ----
my family and friends.

Linda Laframboise Poem
To work at 7-Eleven
Is like being with family and friends
You tend to get to know one another,
And your customers get to know you;
It feels like, a bit of heaven.
You get to move up slowly but surely
Learn new things every day
Get the trust of co-workers and bosses,
And get to trust some customers;
In every way.
So you just make sure
Anytime you arrive in a town or city
That you drop in at 7-Eleven,
To see the friendly and smiling employees;
Where I know you wish you were.

Linda Laframboise Poem
There was a man named Elvis
Whom they say had a gift
That gift was his voice
A voice, that always had a lift.
He was a great man who lived
A friend to everyone he touched
He was happy making others happy,
Let the poor, feel there was hope;
He had a voice, that did so much.
Gave the meaning of giving
Like air to which we breathe
Enjoyed grateful looks, of the living,
To see he's trying to help out;
In a life, with so much misery.
So here we go with that voice
That was trying to change this world
To be more of a giving one
And let us know, we all, have a choice.

Linda Laframboise Poem
As I watch the sky turning into darkness
I then see my life, so much in a shambles
That I just don't know how to get out,
I wish there was an easy way;
But first, I need to find, what it's about.
So I look to see people going no where fast
I felt so lost and so very alone
But then you came along, and opened my heart;
To a feeling, I thought would never last.
So I'll have to look, at what's in front of me
To be able to get my life, back in order
Keep feeling what I do, towards you and others,
The feeling, that my life can turn around;
With you helping me, take life as it can be.

Linda Laframboise Poem
If the sky did not have stars
And there was no planet mars,
If there was no brilliant sun
Setting in the horizon;
Where would I be?
If this old world did not spin
And the folks did not have any gin,
If Adam never had an Eve,
And man knew not how to believe;
Where would I be?
If I couldn’t see the TV
Or those eyes smile at me,
If his voice I couldn’t hear
Or his presence wasn’t near;
Where would I be?
When he gives me that famous kiss
If I didn’t feel it was for me,
If his love, couldn’t always be
Or his beauty cover me;
Where would I be?
Yes, where would I be:
Without, my darling love.
