Fault: Remember, We'Re All Human.

First i say I'm sorry for what I've done
I've had nowhere to go, to hide, nowhere to run.
This isn't the first and certainly not my last
Hard times call for hard choices, to take or to ask...
Rejection, a pill no water can keep down
My life for hire; to the providers I am bound

I can't do this, I'm sick of being alone
Every time i called; no pick up, just the ringing from your phone

The horde it calls me time and time again,
and still you wonder why i ask so little of someone, you, a "friend"

I can't say no, not to you, not to anything you do
It is your choice, your calls, I've got mine to make too.

All I ask is this, just one small thing, pretty please?
How can you say you're something you're not; a friend, just an arrogant tease.

God hear me now, you're vote really counts,
One in the chamber with the barrel in my mouth.

All I ever wanted was for you to hear me out
All I ever did was cry, scream, and shout.

Why if you're real should i feel this much hate
Alas, it's time for our trigger happy date

Goodbye cruel world full of ignorant bliss
Goodbye my fears, nothingness must be tenfold better than this.

With a deep breath, i close my eyes, and i hope....
You were right there before me; with a click, dear God, your swing vote.

You Probably Didn'T Catch His Name

No bias, no compassion, no tracks laid down
Grown up, ran over, the signs are still around

The space a vacant complex where we once stood
To go back, to remember, I want so much for you

The would've, the should've, you could
We cut the tall trees down with no look to the future

Not to those we love or the ones we create
To tread on cold feet, no fire in sight

The dusk fades and the blackness turns to night
this is a bullshit battle this shouldn't even be a fight

Put me up, far away, in a special "place"

Just come with me, we will run away
Now is now and the past shouldn't always be something we hate
to bad we never got the chance at that first date

I've learned how about you? Now that we've all started over anew

I can be that idol, i can be that man
Hold tightly, close your eyes, and give me your hand

Everyone a pick up when they are down
I can be there you know i can listen

Just for one night, come dance with me, I'll show you what you're missing

I'm not a band-aid and certainly not a cure
But I've a heart of gold, and my intentions are pure

I've been bled just as you've been before
I hope it's the last, i cant stand it looking away, and locking the door

Stand up lets go, I'm giving all of me to you
Don't make me say the twice,
for you there's not a thing i wouldn't do

I threw it away, the liquid courage the false hope smoke
No sorrows to drown it, just a clear, open road

Now is the time for change, just let me know when your ready
when you want to pick up and go.

This whisper, i seal to you my promise,
The funny thing is I'm not going to push you,
i just really hope you notice

The War: a Lifetime Long

This is everything we've ever been taught
A lesson learned is a lesson more or less forgotten
With the weight of your world, the hum of your tune
Everything is over all to soon
With a crack of a whip it all turns slow
when everywhere we've been
is everywhere we'll go

We bellow and bask and things gone wrong
this is more or less hearing; not listening to the song

The more you give, the more they take
And the gift in return?

a smile,

the essence of fake.

The gift of life, not the job or task
is a gift from the future, the present, the past

It's a beautiful tempest

a song

Life long.
