Paradise

I close my eyes to picture paradise
A paradise never seen or heard of
An inexistent place of being
A look around and take in the unimaginable scene
Making sure of the surroundings I stand in
My eyes look for the deep sense of reality
Here, there is no war
There is no hate
There is no judgment
Perfection and outer beauty do not exist
violence, discrimination, and wealth is forgotten in the abyss
They become words scrambled in the past with lost meanings
I feel so far away from home as I search for signs of life
But only I breathe this air and walk this ground
Realizing that I am the only one who longs for paradise
But suddenly I hear happy murmurs from afar
The other souls have bravely stepped into this peaceful world
True freedom and serenity flow into my light body
Lifting me off the ground, making me feel so high
A sense of worth and meaning dawn over me as I float off into the beaming sky
I've never felt such a belonging before
No more do I dwell on the past
This moment is what I live for
Worries are left on the ground and crushed by all of the lovely souls
As I begin to open my eyes praying for this world to stay
My feet begin to come down onto the solid ground
Standing in this cold ugly world
I question life and search for paradise once again

The Stage Is His Destiny, His Home

An unearthly figure rises from the smoke
Standing so majestically
Feet firm on the ground below
A presence like no other
A site, difficult to comprehend
for the most imaginative dreamer
Vibrant colors beaming through the air
Piercing blue eyes enter every being
A strong body filled with endless vibes
The biggest skeptics begin to believe
The coldest souls begin to flame
The most satisfied begin to crave
Witnessing, feeling, sensing magic
Unimaginable amounts of energy,
pouring into deep crevasses
Dust turns to whimsical glitter,
Reality turns to a dream-like mystical theater
The ground trembles with passion
The air quakes with a sudden captivating striking voice
Breathtaking sounds flowing,
from within this beauty of a man
Hauntingly grandiose notes stream
Into the most immense depths
Being one with the pure emotional expression,
filled with sensuality and lust
Body moving with each passing rhythm,
Telling a vibrant story of hidden desire
A performance filled with every bit of heart and soul
Here witnessing genius artistry in the form of a human
A mesmerizing presence, sexy site, smoldering eyes,
magnificent voice, sizzling moves
Have all become one, creating the fiercest of all magic
The stage is where Adam Lambert thrives
The stage is his destiny, his home

Glass Box

I kept my heart in a glass box
You knew it didn't have any locks
You shattered the glass with your strong hands
You reached in and pulled it out
I didn't know what you were about
Foolishly I let you have it
You looked at my heart and saw how much it was lit
Pieces of glass lay on the ground
You stepped over them to not make a sound
You looked around
Made sure no one was there
Because I thought for sure you did care
Care about my precious heart
But you knew your goal right from the start
You took a piece of glass that lay,
And stabbed my heart without having anything to say
Dark blood came pouring out
All I could do was to shout
You stepped in my blood
You walked away leaving footprints, like leaving a trail of mud
My heart lay dying for a while
No longer was it able to smile

Beautiful Rose

Your presence, like no other
Your smell so intense yet calming
Your petals so soft and smooth
I come to stare at your beauty
I am taken back by your red, vibrant, stunning color
Petals made up of green and life to flourish
Roots keep you grounded to nourish your wealth
You stand so strong, showing your thorns of pain
The thorns of protection, not violence
The thorns that give you the strength
To live on such a cold earth
You give blood to those who disrespect your beauty,
This ability I wish to have
I look up to your serenity yet ability to stand against those
The ones who are not worthy of your beautiful sight
There will come a day when your lovely smell will slowly diminish
Your petals will lightly shed and fall apart into ashes of veins
Your colors will start to fade
Your roots will become thin and fragile
Your strong stance will become shriveled and weak
But you will never stop being a beautiful rose,
The one I see in front of me, with such bright inner beauty

~Dedicated to my beautiful Mother, Elizabeth~

Water of Waves

There are so many waves
I try to count but lose track
I realize they all come flowing back,
Back to the shore over and over again
I can't help but to think how it feels,
To finally reach the sand and get swept off,
back to the water of waves.
I question their existance,
Why they run away?
Run from the water of waves
Maybe its because they want to feel free,
Or maybe that's the way they need to be
I try to count but lose track
I see the waves coming back

This Pure Moment of Music

So loud, so bold, so strong, so rich
Hearing every beat, word, phrase
The heart of it speaks to me
I lay conversing with the love streaming from the sound
I listen to what it has to say
Putting myself in it's pain, joy, fear
Realizing, I posses the same
I bear the same feelings
Over and over again I do listen
While it sheds its tears to the solid ground
Opening its most personal thoughts
I drift away with the meaning
Getting lost in a stunningly beautiful image
Feeling so safe and protected
I am put in a rare state of serenity
No where else does this exist, but where I find myself
The state of losing myself in its song
Its pure velvet melodies and rhythms
I never want it to end
I never want to leave its presence, I've come to witness
But here I am in this one moment
This pure moment of Music,
Getting lost in it's heart and soul

My Brother

I can't stop thinking of you
I can't get over the fact that youre gone
I always wanted to say "I love you",
But I bet you already knew
I close my eyes and picture us together,
You will always be on my mind forever
I never thought you would leave
I pray you come back, maybe you receive
My heart is no more whole,
Some say it can show
Everyday it gets more clear,
I need you here
I miss you oh so much
Im longing to feel your gentle touch
I lay here and can't think of another,
That I love as much as my brother

4th Floor Balconly

What a beautiful place
It's so peaceful, no sound, there isnt a trace
Cool wind blows against my face
I wish i can stay here forever
I just wont leave, ever
Here my thoughts float off into the sky
I spread my arms out to fly
Looking down below, I feel so high
The rays of sun shine down on me
Untill darkness falls, they're for me to see
Glimmering stars begin to shine
In the darkness peace is still mine
The bright orange sun is rising, far far away
I smile because I can have another peaceful day
4th floor balcony, what a beautiful place

In My Heart

As we move on, you are in my heart
I knew you would always be, right from the start
The love I feel for you will never die
First loves are the deepest, you are my
You stepped into my life and changed it
I now know what it means to love,
and I now know what it means to lose,
but a place for you in my heart will never be lost,
its what I chose
Sweet memories haunt my mind
Sweet words haunt my soul
In my heart there once was a hole
Its now filled with you,
and memories of us two
I will keep you close forever
You wont be replaced, ever
As we move our separate ways,
In my heart you will forever and ever stay
