What Is Life

WHAT IS LIFE?
“For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. The days our years are three scores and ten; and if by reason of strength, they be fourscore years yet is their strength and labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away”(Psalms) {Sighs} Three hundred and sixty five days gone in a blink Another year cycle is gone Time flies by rapidly Destroying and bringing forth life unceasingly As time goes by, man nears his end Man’s life force diminishes each and everyday The process can be rapid The process can be slow The process can also neither be slow nor fast Three scores and ten! Considered a lifetime? This lifetime isn’t guaranteed What does Birth actually entails? The nonexistent to existent And Death? Takes back the existing back to nonexistent From nothingness came life and to nothingness returns life Zero to Zero Is birth actually new life? Or Beginning of the end of a life force? In this world, man is living to die Man in a gradual process grows up At the same time, closes in on death Man in his helpless situation lives and dies simultaneously ‘What is life?’ Erwin Schrowdinger asks Life is but a fleeting Shadow.

Pondering the Year Ahead

Pondering the Year Ahead

New year, a fresh season's dawn,
Last year shadow fades, new purpose drawn
Fresh expectations and new dreams dreamt
Will the dreams come to pass and the expectations met?

It is not my first year,
I ‘ve spent sometime here,
Convictions were crafted in the past too with journeys intended,
Yet, in the past years, my goals have been suspended.

Now a tremor of fear takes hold,
Is it the familiar trend to uphold?
What is to be come of this year’s thread?
A weaving of triumph or moment to dread?

The common occurrence of defeat and shame?
Is there the tiniest hope of winning this game?
Will this year mimic the familiar frame?
Another tale of struggle, or an ascent to fame?

A new score sheet is here,
One devoid of yesteryear's stain,
Now, the time is come to make a gain,
Time to answer the clarion call to carve a mark out there,
And never had there been a better time to uphold the banner of my name
